Hey there! Since we are applying a little more pretreat solution I would say between 48-64 grams per 16 x 20 inch spray. The solution is ready to use, no diluting-but be sure to shake the pretreat well before every use

@@1314mexican sooo depending on the material the vest is (assuming poly) you may have an easier time running a direct to film transfer on your printer. Have you done this before and are you using Garment Creator or Garment Creator 2? I have settings for both

Hello, If we are referring to a conveyor dryer, we would need one built for direct to garment meaning it has forced air capabilities- this will serve as pressure to get a solid cure of the digital print

How is the washing result?

With proper curing wash life is strong - cold water, inside out and tumble drying on low or hang drying for longest life of the print. DTF would also be something I would consider for using my DTG printer to produce goods onto polyester : )

Hello, if the ink is puddling this can typically be a sign of a pretreat related issue. Why not do one continuous two minutes In the heat press? Doesn't seem like you're giving much of a break In between the 30 second presses anyway. Also, would have been nice to see a closeup of the final product after heat pressing like you did after the printing. Seems like you may have been hiding something. Lastly, are you using a teflon sheet to cure In the heat press? That gives it a shiny finish a lot of people don't like you should be more specific about that. Other than that, the printer seems to be amazing!

Hi there! We feel 2 minutes of straight heat pressing at that temperature could burn or scorch the polyester. Let the water based ink steam out or "breath" can also keep more of the pigment. The polyester pretreat is a little tacky so this can also prevent stiff or starchiness and give us a more wearable garment. This also lets moisture out of the material that may otherwise be trapped in the heat press. Let's be honest. I don't shop at a single retailer that sells DTG let alone on 100% poly. Wheres the market for this? If people wanted this so bad major retailers would have started selling it by now. Why haven't they? DTG has been around for years and I barely see any of it worn in the real world. I see more vinyl, heat transfers and silk screen than anything else.

Hey there, Epson direct to garment is the number #1 seller in North America which is the market I would consider our territory - not every person who wants to print quality t-shirts has the space or electrical required to run a full fledged screen print shop and this full set up can be put together in an apartment bedroom. As far as big retailers, not every Epson distributor is allowed to carry this so I wouldn't expect to see this available for purchase at every big box chain. Screen print is time tested and while I do not see that going anywhere, I would say there is going to be big difference in quality when comparing hobby level heat transfers and vinyl. When you say you see don't see DTG being sold in retailers but rather screen print/heat transfer/vinyl, are you saying the retailers you shop at list the the production process of the items they sell? I have never heard of that before, sounds interesting!
