Actually, they NEVER got their picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone. When Rolling Stone gave them the cover, they used a cartoon picture of the band. So even when they made the cover, their pictures did not appear on the cover of the Rolling Stone...

I know I haven't actually commented in quite a while but dang son, you sure have grown up! I have literally watched you transform from child to grown man! Quit making me feel old! That madness aside, Dr Hook is one of my favorite bands! They didn't get a lot of AirPlay because some of their songs were a little too suggestive for the radio back then.
