Could BTS be the hardest working music group in the world? It seems like all they think about is producing great music that their fans will love. They've already made a huge contribution to music, and I hope they keep going.

There's a saying among Army's that say "You find BTS when you need them" it could be a suggestion from a friend or by chance on your own, but is never accidental. They come in to your life and make you feel at home and in sync with their messages. You talk about a particular hard time with someone in your life...and then in the path of your reactions to BTS "Fake love" shows up. They truly are "artists & music for healing" Love your reactions can wait to see the RM speach and your thoughts on it 😊

The saying is true. I found BTS when I was really depressed because my Dad had Cancer... (everything's okay now) but at that time I was so down and I wanted Comfort. Then, I found out about BTS and they encouraged me to not stop fighting and It felt really great :) (Sorry for my english)

They really are very matured and humble. I remember there's this interview where they were asked how they feel and what they think of their popularity and success. And they answered, that now that they are popular and more people are listening to their music, they are feeling more sense of responsibility in making good music with great messages for their listeners. I was caught off guard by their answer, instead of thinking on how to maintain their popularity and/or being proud and showing off their success, they were thinking on how they can influence their listeners and use their music to spread good messages and stick to their company's goal of being artists that produces music for healing. 💜💜💜

I love this reaction! thank you for reacting to this! By the way I would love it if you could react to some of their recent logs and chats with the fans like the one you saw of RM talking about the importance of lyrics. Another one is the conversations they have over dinner for festa which is the BTS debut week anniversary celebration we have every year, I think you would love those and it would be a good thing to watch to get more of a sense for them as individuals and as a group. These dinners get so introspective and so very personal that it is uncanny the things they reveal about themselves to the fans and the public. here is the link for the 2019 one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYG6Y4N5hb6te6c here is the link for the 2018 one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWWwlp-ppJyAhrc

I really agree with you about how amazing it is how they integrate so much of their content to tell such a wonderful story about growing up and human nature. BUT I just wanted to say to be careful not to ascribe all their songs as being part of the storyline. Many of their songs are of a personal nature and are from their own personal experiences and it wouldn't do those songs justice to try to fit them into a fictional storyline, even if that storyline is very much about real-life issues people face every day. Also, some songs really are for fun and rocking out! Though tbh even a lot of those do have a deeper meaning as well haha That's just BTS life for you

You seem truly interested in BTS so I thought I'd recommend a book to you. There is an excellent book written by Youngdae Kim that breaks down BTS' music through reviews and critiques, thereby highlighting how different and special BTS truly are. Kim Youngdae Kim is a music critic and an author, who serves as a member of the Selection Committee for Korean Music Awards(SK's closest to the Grammys). Kim studied business administration at Yonsei University in Korea and completed a Ph.D program in ethnomusicology at the University of Washington. Born and raised in South Korea, he moved to Seattle in 2007 where he has been closely observing American pop music trends and the development of K-pop for over a decade. This man has a keen understanding of BTS' musical journey. It is quite the read, but worth it if you are interested in BTS' artistic journey and why they are standouts in the industry. I just work my way through the book slowly and watch lyric vids and MVs of the songs mentioned and have found it very interesting. Looking forward to your vid about your Santa Clara concert experience. 😊💜 www.amazon.com/BTS-Review-Comprehensive-Look-Music/dp/8925566060/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=bts+a+review&qid=1581165204&sr=8-1

I totally agree with what RM said that more than the beat and vibes of the song the lyrics is the most important. That's why I really love BTS's music

8 months ago I was having a hard time both in my personal and professional life and I will be forever grateful for the day I stumbled upon their music. These days if I’m having a hard time I just tell myself ‘ Everything goes’. Like what RM said, you just have to find an outlet or any thing that could make you happy. For him it’s collecting figurines and for me it’s listening to their music. Now, after all the Bon Voyages, all the Runs, the summer packages, the winter package, the vlives and all their shows and performances, I’m finally taking a step towards self growth and career growth. At 33, Outro: Wings was life changing. It tells me to ‘ Spread spread spread my wings’ and whenever I’m in doubt about my decisions I just listen to that song. My dream is within reach now and I could never thank the Tannies enough for the inspiration and the push that they gave me. 💜💜💜

OH MY GOSH SAME! I’m 50 and got so tired of US pop music soooo long ago. I got into Kpop in late 2011, and after that I hardly listened to anything on the radio. I felt like it was insipid, over-simplified, and over-sexualized. I wanted content, meaning, intelligent music composition, something truly hummable/singable, something uplifting, even if it’s only lifting a mood. Then BTS showed up and everything I was getting from Kpop I was suddenly getting in SPADES.

Susan Grayson PRECISELY!!! I agree 1,000% Today it’s either local talk radio or Kpop. And BTS is my ultimate group and the only one I stan. (I don’t have time to stan more than one, and doing Adult stuff gets in the way of stanning BTS as much as I want to.) I didn’t bother to watch the Super Bowl or halftime show this year, and tbh I’m glad I don’t have that burned into my brain based on what I heard. ‘Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD,’ first of all. But mostly I can’t sort out how women want to be taken seriously and not objectified and demeaned, yet perform or support a performance that does exactly that. Okay, enough of the soapbox. I’m just so glad that we have such a wonderful alternative.

I already watched the video for how many times now but it has the same impact on me. I cried a lot while watching your reaction and by hearing your reaction about them. I saw them grow as an artist. Being an ARMY is never easy. You often get hate for being one especially at the time when they first debuted. You often face xenophobics and other people who want to degrade BTS. But, what is the best part of being an ARMY is that I know that BTS is not the same with other groups. They changed your views in life through their songs. They save me from the darkness that I'm in, 7 years ago. And I am thankful for their existence because they are one of the reasons for whoever I am today. I may be an ARMY for 7 years but everything still feels new to me and that's their impact.

For me the most important contribution was experience the music in so many levels, mentally, emotionally, artistically ... They made a whole support network for people with the same mindset, they make music for this people , no the ones who judges them without knowing, of course there are crazy "fans", that join just because they are handsome or other superficial reasons... But the core, the real ARMY knows the importance of this journey and even when other people say mean things because we like BTS and what they do, we keep growing and healing. That's what a coherent powerful and well delivered positive message can do.

You're one of the best reactors of BTS! Given that they are holistic artists and philanthropists it takes one to look into the social, cultural and universal themes of their artistry. Thanks for your thoughts on BTS!

They also produce a variety show called Go BTS. It is up to 94 episodes. They play games and go to interesting places. You also learn a lot of culture and, of course, get to know the guys. Additionally, they produce a show of their travels called "Bon Voyage." Each program is 8 sessions long. They have gone to Finland, Hawaii, Malta, and New Zealand. You can watch them in Weverse and You Tube. The Malta version is not available at the moment. Both these shows really highlight their humor and their sentimental side as they have "missions" given by the staff that stretch them. You should check them out!

BTS are really an enigma. Western music market discredits them as another flash in the pan "boy group" which just goes to show how shallow most listeners are. I know since becoming ARMY 3 years ago I find it difficult to even listen to current western music. It's often meaningless or shallow. When you stan BTS your standards in music rise but not only that but the standards you hold for yourself increase. If you'd like more information about ARMY driven charity work visit OneInAnArmy.com . (I follow on Twitter). You can visit the website and see the many charities ARMY have supported. Each month there is a named charity/charities that are selected for our support. The concept is that every dollar counts. And with a fandom as large as ARMY one dollar really does add up fast and make a difference. I donate to the monthly charity every month. And special charities are selected during BTS member birthday months that reflect the members personal interests.

I'm glad that you'll be reacting to the Run episodes. You'd get to witness their level of crakedheads is very high😂, you'll also get to have a glimpse on teamwork and how they "fight" over a $20dollar gift certificate😂😂😂. They are very humble, one of the things we love about them.

Sir, you're super thoughtful and completely understand the many reasons why ARMY love & support these 7 amazingly talented dork! 😭👍💙 Not a lot of reactors have these meaningful conversations that delve deeper and connect with the overall message of BTS. Yes, they really make us think and become more interested in the arts, literature, various subjects like psychology etc. Aliens huh? Why do you think Bangtan Universe exists...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

They were also on an episode of Running Man - a Korean variety show that is now streaming on Netflix. I can't remember which episode it was, but I love to re-watch it just to laugh my a** off! I know you're going to love Run BTS as well. But, as others have suggested, perhaps Bon Voyage might be more manageable to start with since there is only four seasons and Run BTS is up to, like, Season 6, episode 93. I, too, love watching your thoughtful and appreciative reactions to the boys and their music. They truly are special. Thank you💜.

DT PARKER, I doubt you'll see my comment but i really wanted to say -you totally gained me as a follower. I am so happy that you are not a superficial reactor that does it all just for the views. It is so good watching you diving deep into BTS, not only scratching the surface. I also really like your way of thinking. When you pointed out Caesar's "divide and conquer" strategy referring to BTS struggles with the industry, i immediately hit the subscribe button (thinking - this guy is AWAKE - just like us). BTS is 10000000000 times more than people think of them. I am extremely frustrated when media and people around don't give them their due. You already have a platform for that, i really appreciate the reactions to explanation videos, in this way people who weren't aware of the deeper meanings are learning about them. I hope your parents watch all your reactions because they will understand you better in this way, and be proud of you also. They even might gain something for themselves. In my soon 30 BTS gave me a new perspective on life and myself. Also, they gave me motivation, hope and inner peace. My daughter is 2.5 and she adores them but i can't wait to be able to talk about the deeper meanings with her. I wish everyone would dive into BTS. The world would definitely be a better place! Ps: excuse my English. I am from Eastern Europe (Moldova).

The members f BTS have such a positive influence ,especially on their fan base, ARMY, that I have read of fans planting forests in honor of RM, and donating blood because Jimin did.Among other things. I wish someone would put together a video of those things too. They are a Gift. And I for one appreciate and admire them so much.

THANK YOU! Music nowadays is being dumbed down. Arts are being dumbed down. Gosh, dare I say education and appreciation is steadily deteriorating. I am thankful for these man (Bighit family) for teaching us again, even simple things now taken for granted like social etiquette and manners. Simple like saying Sir, Mr, bowing (please and thank you) and simply the proper way of holding a wine glass all while fighting for injustices. No sugar coated K-pop with Bighit family. It really warms my heart.

And it’s not just what they do themselves for charity or to raise awareness on a certain topic but what they inspire others (especially ARMYs) to do. Just a few weeks ago, they performed at The Late Late Show with James a orden and since he treated our boys so well, ARMYs from all over the world donated money to James Corden’s favorite charity and more than 36,000 breakfasts for children in need were raised. And even if it’s not with money, they make you want to be a better person and a happier person who loves themselves :) they are amazing people

As a long term music fan, I’ve seen a lot over the years. It feels like late 90s and early 2000s, artists thought about their music more. You’re right when you say pop music has been dumbed down in the west. I think that’s why we’re seeing the rise of BTS, people are noticing this trend and are craving something deeper and more passionate.

They make us think, that’s so important! They have 7 ppl giving ideas, so it’s a bit easier to work on new stuff since it’s more than one head thinking. They have gone through times when they thought it was too much or too hard, but they stuck together. You should watch their 2018 festa and the army dreaded 2018 mama artist of the year acceptance speech (the day all of army around the globe cried) they talk a lot about that time, which is just now being turned into songs. You should check out RM’s vlives for each album, he goes deep into the process for making the album and a lot into writing the lyrics, since he does most of them.
