DTTF - Tips on Getting the Most out of the Pentatonic Scale

I used to think the pentatonic scale was boring. Imho, phrasing is infinitely more important than the actual notes played. You can tell a guitarists musical acumen by what they can pull out of the pentatonic. Something I used to do was listen to the track I was writing a lead for and play drum rudiments along with it. This is essentially what phrasing is. Just replace the beats with notes. Anyways, good stuff man.

Phrasing is the secret sauce of music and one of the most important skills you can acquire. It all comes down to combinations brother, pentatonic scale...good. Pentatonic Scale + Modes + b3? Better :) Keep shredding!
