The sound is terrible though I know the module sounds decent on its own. The super tiny LCD screen kills it for me. I can't imagine why they would use such a small LCD and expect you to squint and scroll through that tiny thing to adjust all of your settings. I have seen watches that have a better LCD than this thing.

90% of negative comments regarding Yamaha Corporation of America could get a "thumbs up" from me. In this situation, however, what would you recommend as an alternative to using tape to keep the pick-up in place? It is suggested that tape be used to hold the pick-up in place on a BATTER head that most drummers either POUND THE SHIT out of, or at the very least STRIKE. Batter heads are ugly...all of them. Duct tape isn't going to make them uglier.
