This is a snares-off sound I exported from a VSTi Plug-In as 120 samples and imported to the DTXpro module as a multi layer sample, or 'User Voice'. All the other kit sounds are internal

Hi Simon, I purchased a dtx pro x 10 mesh which I hope it comes within 20 weeks. For live use. Do I need DI boxers with the masters out and direct outs?

Hi again Marinus. That depends on how you use your PA. I would normally use DI boxes if the cable length is more than a few metres, but if it is short, you can just use jack cables. DI boxes WILL give a better signal though.

Hello Simon, Do you know if the snares on/off dial on the XP120SD will work with the DTXPro?
@edruminfo2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I’m afraid it won’t. Only the 900, 700 and 502 modules work with that

hi Simon, i read the reference manual and i don't find detailed explanations about that. can you explain how you do that (with an external app ?) and how much time it takes. I use Superior Drummer 3 on Mac and i'm interreted to import some sounds in dtx pro. thank you in advance.

Hi Jacques. It's not in the reference manual as it requires a bit of knowledge and knowhow. I've done some videos about it for Yamaha but I don't think they are released yet. I'll do a video about how to extract the sounds from a VSTi but it will be a while before I get time to do it. Keep checking back here and you'll see it.

Cymbals don’t still sound real but urs are no worse than Roland slightly better idk
@essenter42222 жыл бұрын
Technically there is no sound such as "real", every cymbal has it's own unique sound, depending on size, thickness, material etc. and at least Yamaha is using real samples which don't sound like a crushed can filled with water like Roland
