Well obviously, that smile you have is already so bright, it shines like the brightest sun. All three of you have absolutely beautiful smiles that will glow even as you age. And I mean that with all my heart. Surgery is completely unnecessary. But I understand if you are feeling this anxiety within yourself, and can help it disappear for yourself, do what you feel you can that will help to satisfy that innate feeling inside yourself. I certainly know what it’s like to have feelings that can’t be explained. And because others don’t understand it does not make it unreal for you. You have very supportive boyfriends. And even with no kisses for a few weeks, they will still be patiently waiting. 😅 Somehow, I think we all go through having similar anxieties when growing up. And middle school and high school doesn’t help. Listening to you guys talk about having these same anxieties growing up made me realize this has to be a universal feeling as we start becoming aware of our appearances. I can’t think about a teenager from many different countries and cultures not having these exact same anxieties about our appearances. And like you, it carries into adulthood for many of us, but not all of us. We sometimes start to accept it is what it is. Today, you touched on a topic that people will relate to no matter who we are or where we live on the planet.

cada día me siento mas a gusto con ustedes, tocan tantos temas con tanta naturalidad que me hacen sentir cómoda. A modo personal he tenido muchas inseguridades en especial por mi altura siendo mujer desde muy pequeña he sido muy alta al punto de que mido 1.80 como quería Adam jajaja. Pero cuando eres chica esto puede darte un tanto de inseguridad y mas en un entorno donde eres mas alta que la media, muchas personas hacen buenos comentario sobre ello ya que soy alta y esbelta, pero no me hacen sentir bien. Sin embargo, hace unos años escuche una frase que decía: "si hay algo en ti que no te gusta y se puede cambiar esfuérzate y cámbialo, pero si eso no se puede cambiar, acéptalo y úsalo a tu favor" solo hasta ese momento pude aligerar mi carga sobre mis complejos, las cosas que puedo cambiar las mejoro para sentirme cómoda las que no trato en lo posible que no me afecten, aprender a amarme y aceptarme por encima de los demás fue difícil, pero lo mejor que he podido hacer por mi.

Appearance is always a reason for anxiety, as we want to look perfect, till we find another looking better. Agree with you what you mentioned in the last, acceptance of what we were born with and feel proud of it, may becomes key for happiness, unless the Appearance is really bad or makes one loose confidence. Above all age always catches up and one may loose all the handsomeness. ❤❤❤

Thanks。。。 也许以前的人不达会注重本身的外貌吧，可能会不满但不会说去整容，也许那个时代不是很流行。 而我本身呢是牙齿吧因会有逢而前面2颗会比较大一点，但以前笨笨也不会太在意。哈！最美的地方是有双大眼睛，双眼皮而眼毛又长又翘，从小到大很多人都称赞我的眼很美比人生还美，哈！还有人问我是不是有动过手术。但老实说大部分的同志都非常注重外表和美容，（这是我个人的看法和观察）但我不会，我是顺其自然那种人，但又像你们说的有时会觉得有点自卑因觉得自己身边的朋友都长得比自己英俊，哈！但还好他们会像你们那样会安慰我开导我。 其实我也是觉得吴軍如果不动手术也是看不出有问题，也是很帅。但说真的你们3位都很帅。 还是老话一句谢谢您们的影片，永远支持你们的江川

Lamentablemente en el mundo que vivimos existe mucha superficialidad y por supuesto que en algún momento de nuestras vidas tenemos inseguridades y nos afecta muchísimo, sin embargo hay personas que a simple vista no parecen tener algún defecto pero que a esa persona le afecta e incluso en extremo y otros sienten que no es necesario hacerse el cambio. Interesting episode. I don't think I have ever considered changing my appearance surgically (I am ok with who I am) nor have I ever made a list of what I would want my partner to look like physically but maybe that's better because I identify as demi pan and therefore the person and connection have more weight for me. I also don't think that in the UK there is quite as much cosmetic plastic surgery as you see portrayed in South Korea or as you are indicating in Taiwan. It isn't a normalised thing here I don't think. Your observations about the difference in Western and Asian aesthetics in the media is spot on although I don't think it is all new and based around political correctness - some of it undoubtedly is in terms of race, sexuality and perhaps body shape. It's interesting as well that in Japanese media teeth aren't always perfect and in fact I think crooked teeth there are considered cute and interesting.

Talking about braces - watching Asian dramas I see so many actors and actresses wearing braces. You can almost follow their career as braces and post braces. I don't see that many braces in the US. Granted I don't have any children, except the 4-legged kind and don't have friends with kids, but in daily life it seems that Asians wear braces more often than Americans.

My grandmother had no teeth by the time she was your age. She grew up in east Germany post WW2, during the Iron Curtain age. No dental care, started smoking at like age 5 (I'm not kidding), bad diet. Because of growing up watching her clean her false teeth every day, and my mother's reminders to always care for my teeth, I've become very protective of my oral health. My only complaint is how sharp my canines are, because my mouth is so small. It always makes me a little sad to see someone who isn't happy with their smile, I hope you can be soon. ❤

Guys, I was very lucky growing up. Only my sister REQUIRED braces (though in hindsight my little brother probably could have used them, though they were very expensive), so my teeth were adequate, and I rarely experienced any acne! But I was disappointed that I inherited the gene 🧬 for lots of body and facial hair that made me look way older than my actual age. 😔
