Yes, isn't she! It's what I love most about her. So personable and real. Especially when she's in 'difficult' situations. So together and cool. I'm annoyed with myself that I only discovered Dua late last year (Nov. '23) when she released 'Dance the Night' for the Barbie movie. I've been smitten ever since. Fwiw, i'm 76 and on my 3rd coupling, 20 years in, so I know a bit about relationships... and how to survive them.

I wrote Dua off a little based on the other interviews of hers that I’d watched. But I’ve come around a bit based on this interview. I couldn’t sit through the Zane Lowe interview, because Dua was giving NOTHING. Dua seems very shy and super guarded in interviews, which can make long-form interviews an absolute slog to watch if the interviewer doesn’t know how to navigate this-which Zane did not. It felt like he gave up trying to get anything out of Dua, therefore every answer from her felt like a non answer or a tangent, and Zane didn’t even bother trying to steer things or converse with her. Dua seems like the type of person who needs direct questions and likes things to be conversational, and Tom got that very quickly-which Dua picked up on and responded to. But then again, it’s his approach with every interview, which is largely why his interviews are always great.

Enjoyed every second of this interview, due answers were very smart, genuine and direct. Tom did a good research about her in a way to empower his questions. Which also has a big respect from the guest.

At the end of the day, famous celebrities like Dua just want to be normal… They just want to have a normal day. Be treated like you’re just a normal person. And just escape. And have somebody just to hang out with and not go at you and ask you 1 million questions and treat you indifferent. And just accept you as who you are.. I think a lot of celebrities really want that in life. But they don’t get that because they are famous and they are loved and they are revered. It’s hard and stressful being famous. Your day is so full. You just need time to be yourself. Sometimes you need to find yourself be yourself. Don’t get caught up in what everybody else wants you to be. She is as real as it gets.. Very incredible, smart, beautiful, hard-working, independent woman. What is not to love about her.??🤷♂️🙇♂️ I wish I could find a woman like that.? sweep her off her feet and be the man forever for her..!!🙄🤦♂️😔💕💕💕💕💕

I barely just found this artist after looking for Chris Stapleton on KZbin. I just love her. I have two young women/ daughters, beautiful, intelligent women. My eldest keeps attracting jerks who treat her so bad. She doesn’t talk to me until afterwards, probably because I would go into protection mode and it would not be good. Maybe this album will help explain what I can’t when it comes to finding the one on this journey through life. So many lessons to be learned. If you watch and carefully listen to interviews with Robert Plant and compare them to interviews like this with Dua.... You will get a sense of the intelligence of the British. Dua Lipa is Albanian. But British. She is very intelligent and would have been an Oxford student or Ivy League Student if God didn't make her a Singer. She has major class. I would be proud of her if she was my daughter.

I am not a Dua Lipa fan ( I frequently trash her music on social media), but this woman might be the most genuinely eloquent pop artist I've ever come across. How I would describe her would be "the zeitgeist of sagacity" in the realm of modern pop culture. And big props to Tom Power (assuming that's his name) for making this feel like such a diplomatic interview, I am tired of the others who make things all about pop culture, trying to be hip and cool and using colloquium that's way too much of a cliche. That Apple guy (can't remember his name) is a prime example of this platitude. On the contrary, someone could have told me that the History channel did a Dua Lipa interview and sent me this video and I'd fully believe it. Props to both of them. Very much enjoyed this.

Dear Dua, you absolutely have to have your own movie. A musical featuring YOU of course. But definitely NOT another "Star is born" movie. I've got a whole script for you. Synopsis : Dua Lipa meets Daisy Jones and The Six. A fund raising concert venue featuring you as the headliner. Daisy Jones and the Six pick up where the series left off. They announce that they're reuniting and will be performing at this same venue. You're in your dressing room getting ready but the air conditioning doesn't work so they move you to the dressing room next to yours. This is Billy Dunne's but he's on stage now so you can use it. While this is happening we hear the music of Daisy Jones and The Six performing on stage. Their set ends and Billy comes barging in and there you are half naked. YES, we see some skin (enough so viewers get instantly hooked and this ain't a kid movie.). Billy apologized. He didn't know you were in his room. But he's staying there and watching you get dressed with a smirk on his face and wandering eye. You notice and say "Darling! Like what you see?" He replies: Indeed! You admire his bravado and there's instant chemistry. He offers to zip you up while walking toward you and doesn't wait for your answer. He proceed to zip you up but he put his index finger in the middle of the zipper and brushes your skin from your lower back all the way up to your neck . Sparks flies but you keep your cool. Billy had put on some fragrance before he went on stage and his sweat had enhance the aroma and being that closed to you, you couldn't help but having a nose full of it. It's one of your favorite but you say teasingly " Whoa! Did you drop your bottle of parfum on you there, darling? ... And you're off to go do your set. There will be more encounters with the two of you. A secret passionate love affair will develop. Billy struggles to break it off with Daisy because of her ongoing alcohol abuse. This love story will follow in the foot steps of your lyrics and songs that you'll be performing during the movie (Whatcha doing?) There's a part of me that want to steal your heart and a part that tells me Don't!). Love again, levitating, Illusion etc After much trial and tribulation, Dua ask Billy to profess his love for her in a big way. She wants him to come on stage with her and sing her favorite duet "Think I'm in Love with You". Crowd goes wild when they end the song with a long passionate kiss. Roll credits with "End of an era" playing. Contact me if you want the rest of the script. Thanks. I've got a whole script for you. Synopsis : Dua Lipa meets Daisy Jones and The Six. I hear hints of psychodelic and signature Tame Impala sounds in Houdini and Training Season but besides that and maybe a few little sounds here and there in other two or three tracks, it’s very sweet, spring-summer love album, kind of in the vein of 2000s Kylie Minogue.
