Did you know you can do the heavenly blades jumping off of seikret popping demon mode in mid air right behind or in front and in line w the monster. I've been doing that alot and it's so fun

You're starting the rey dau fight when I'm commenting this, but you can keep spamming R2 when doing the flurry attack, and get much more out of it. You don't have to stop after 3

Yeah having a countering dodge with little to no drawbacks makes dual blades look broken I'm definitely pairing with hunting horn

Been using db and ls and I love them although right now I feel like db got nerfed in a way before you just spammed demon combo now you gotta manage the demon bar or you come out of archdemon and lose your dmg

​@reggiemoore755 at first it feels slow but once you get a hang of it and mange it you can combo it so qell and pair it with getting it's weak point when they open you can do so much burst dmg I felt the same way but I think m.once you master it you will see more dmg out put

Don't know if you know, but when fighting Ray Dao when he does his big lightning blasts and then he opens his horns up while kind of posing there, you can get a focus strike off of that pretty much every time.

13:20 that would be a neat mechanic, when rey dau used its lightning in the water it would spread hitting everyone in the water even when outside of range

Really good guide, i love more ppl can see how much fun DB have always been, i just would like to have seen you mention that you can actual do the demon dance and furry toguether as an ultimate combo by repetetively switching modes as you mentioned in the demon dance

6:20 Actually it was only in MH World that you remained in demon mode after getting hit. In all previous games, it used to knock you out of demon mode, and they reverted to this in Rise too. As a longtime DB player, it was a really painful change in World, and I'm glad they did not bring it back for Wilds. Overall DB feel amazing in Wilds. With the addition of the perfect dodge, it feels a lot like adept style in GU and I'm all for it !

When you mentioned making private lobbies, i learned if you stand around and do nothing long enough, it will disconnect you from the lobby and have you play single player mode, kinda like how they did in world

did the mid-combo demon mode exit attack make it from rise? basically, in rise if you exited demon mode during a triangle combo, it would do an attack.

21:04 oh no, what have you done? when you barell bombing sleeping monster never put small and big bombs in the same place. small bomb will explode first so only small damage will be doubled as a waking up attack. big bomb damage must be first thing that hits sleeping monster for double damage

Isn't the dodge attack during Demon Mode just Shrouded Vault's counterattack and Feral Demon Mode's dodge attack combined? And the Demon Mode's Blade Dance is just Archdemon's Blade Dance (The x3 input that is)?

they feel completely amazing, only their dps seem a bit low. when doing dps races on the frog guy, the dual blades dont kill quite as fast as some other weapons.

Dual blades usually benefit from elemental damage, and the weapons in the demo do raw. We might be able to do more damage once we can build with elements.

@ I’m not an expert but from what I know it’s just that it’s the ideal amount of ram it needs, so if you have less than that you will have trouble running the game, it’s mostly going to monopolise most of your computer’s resources but you should be fine running it you might have trouble running other softwares on the background though, I think that’s how it works- But you should be able to run it fine since you have the requirements needed !

I believe it flashes when an attack is going to kill you, so you always see it on the massive monster attacks.

I don’t like it personally, monsters usually have a pretty big tell when they’re about to do their big move, and now you can just go into auto-pilot and still be fine cause it’s so in your face. But that’s more of a nitpick.

I'm not being as thorough in that sense as I normally am in my typical guides, because this is a demo and might still be some info I'm missing. Also given the demo's limited duration, I'd prefer to invest my time into really testing as many things as possible. I try to skim through the more basic stuff to get to the new and more fun things we got because that's what's most exciting. That being said, when the game releases I'll have complete guides for all weapons day 1, and they will of course not assume that you've played the weapon before

@@darkhero2 Need to preselect slinger ammo and equip via square button. It seems to be using your L2 for aiming then press of L3 seems to do the trick
