The only thing I like in this new one’s maybe is non shiny plastic, I can’t think the use of the red light.

If you have already have hatch lights can we replace simply the end lights into existing wiring, And what is the purpose of the red??

On mine, End plugs are different so i need to do the wiring again, the new wiring is simpler than my old one. Purpose of the red light??? I guess for mood light.
