Dual Form Tips ( New Forms ) / Use Under the Nail With Polygel / NEW TECHNIQUE

In this video I use a new type of dual form tips I got at Gossip Nails . I place the tips under the nail , not over . I'm also using polygel to make these short nude nails . It's very easy and fast . That's my opinion . I like to call them Russian Dual Forms , because I see lots of Eastern European nail techs using them the most . A lot of those Techs are from Russia . Thank you for sharing Denise! I love how you demonstrate and explain throughout what you're doing and why. I hadn't noticed that you also follow Olga! Her work is MESMERIZING 😍😍😍 When several skilled people share techniques, it'll reach a much wider audience. I'm a firm believer in forms building stronger nail extensions. I hope this method makes it easier for some techs who may have had frustrations with paper forms to adopt a method of building extensions.

I picked up a set after your first video, and I use them for everything: Acrylic, hard gel, polygel (current set) LOVE them, bc paper forms are not my friends and my natural nails hate nail glue, so tips were out. You could use these on top if you're going for the french look. Base nude on the nail bed then ANY color even glitter or marble tips depending on what you use. Ive been seeing the polygel with all types of glitter pieces.

I'll definitely stick to paper forms for my xxl nails, but for any natural length these are so quick! I LOVE these straight forms! I used the underside method because I hate having to smooth the underside of the nail. I make my base, pop em off, and then build my nail & apex with acrylic or polygel depending on design.

Hey there! Just logged in to my KZbin to comment and ask my doubt coz u really reply the meaningful.. Can you plz suggest to use something else other than uv or led lamp to cure polygel nails ?? Hair dryer or something?? Plz suggest an alternative and the cheapest polygel brand to buy in 1quan. THNX :)

Unfortunately those gels are designed to be cured in the light. Nothing else will cure gel other than a nail lamp designed for that. You do get some really small cheap ones so you dont have to spend a ton of money. You can get small ones on AliExpress for less than $10

I can't wait to try this tomorrow. I hate having to either cut my fingernails so that the underside is flush, or just dealing with seeing the difference between the polygel and my real nail. So this will solve all my underside problems! Using dualforms never work on my nails because they are so flat and wide and so they never fit my nails and look terrible. So I can't wait to try!

No , because I use very little and it doesn’t stay a bump . It’s spreads out . If it did , you can carefully file it out .

Great tutorial sweetie 😘❤️ I love Olga and the ways that she uses these tips. I need to try them out really soon myself 😁 As you know Olga often use them to only sculpt a thin base layer of clear. I guess that the clear gel or polygel will not have the same issues with undercuring🤔 Tfs 😘❤️❤️

hi @Deniseajohn65 what is builder gel and what is it used for? is it the same thing as clear polygel or something different entirely?

Builder gel is not like polygel , doesn’t even have the same consistency. Polygel is a very firm consistency, at least it’s supposed to be , it’s not supposed to be runny at all. With poly gel it’s easier to control than builder gel.Builder gel is used to construct artificial nails and even do overlays on nails . But the consistency is very loose. Some builder gel’s are soft , meaning they soak off and then some are hard builder gel’s , which means they do not soak off you can only file them off. I actually love builder gel’s more so than polygel or acrylic. I think it takes more patience and skill to work with a builder gel but I like the looks of it. Builder gel is not applied in the same manner as polygel. Polygel requires a slip solution so that it does not stick to your brush and that you can pat it into place. Builder gel is more floated on the nail and done in layers to build up the proper structure . No slip is required for builder gel .

@@Denisejohn65NailEd thankyou so much! thats so much clearer to me now ...i was wondering if you can help me with something else that im struggling to find an answer to, can i use polygel, acryl gel or soft builder gel instead of glue to apply full cover nails (the gel ones) and then build up an apex on top with my polygel? .. some things ive read says that if you use polygel as glue to attach them it doesn't fully cure properly and im just confused! i had initially planned to use dual forms or dual form tips but from what ive seen it looks unnecessarily complicated and being a complete newbie (never done polygel or any kind of nails on someone before) would probably take me double the time so i think im going to just do the full cover tips now, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
