I adore the Odyssey Filter Lands because it filters my Ancient Tomb and Sol Ring into colored mana, which are represented by many other cards in my decks in Urzas Saga, Urzas Cave, and Expedition Map. Even though the Tomb and Ring are only two cards out of the whole deck, the amount of cards I play that grab them make it virtually 5-6 colorless sources that can benefit from their filtering (Only in my 2 color decks btw).

I see Odyssey filters as being basically the same as the slow lands, but way cheaper financially. I really don’t get why they hated on them so much.

i play a Powestones Tokens package in my deck and they also filter powerstone mana into colored mana that can be used for everything

If you’re speaking optimally, it is correct to run all ten fetches in a 5 color deck. Why would that not be the case?

Fetch lands do not count as a full land so you either have to slot in 10 lands more than a typical deck of be short 10 actual lands compared to other decks.
