Important note: This is NOT the only way to do dual PC audio with the mix create. This is just the way I had it setup the first time and have been using like this ever since. With music, discord, gaming, etc. all on the gaming PC and being sent over, you miss out on some submixing capabilities. If you ran music and discord on the streaming PC, you could add those to the Mix Create and have more control. But then when you're NOT live, you have to use your streaming PC for everything. There is give and take depending on where you want your mix create installed, and how you run your setup. This is just one of the ways, and KickedTripod has a video on the Beacn KZbin channel that documents a different way. Hope that helps!

I know this is about the beacn mix create, but I really do wish youtubers would acknowledge the fact that the beacnmix mic can do exactly the same as the beacnmix create, once you enable the mixer in the menu. So no need for the createmix unless you want physicall buttons and a nice screen. I litterly had a conversation with beacn on twitter to confirm this ;) Otherwise, i love naaaaaaaaaackers ♥
@Naaackers2 жыл бұрын
Hey there MagicStu. So the reason that I didn't cover this, is because I wasn't aware. I had a Beacn Mix Create and a Beacn Mic plugged into the same PC during the beta testing process. When it's setup this way, it disables the mixer on the mic, and enables it on the Mix Create. I didn't even know the mic could do that until after I posted my mic review video. With that said, I disagree that there is no use for the mix create. A HUD and physical buttons make all the difference. In addition to that, this video isn't for only the people that also have a Beacn Mic. It's or the people that only buy a Beacn Mix Create and not the mic. The create being hardware agnostic makes it usable in so many different setups.

Great info and video. Helped me with a bit of a conundrum that I have. I set it up almost the same as you have it with my Mix Create on my streaming PC, however, because I have a 4K60 Pro, I just have the audio coming out of it and have it and into a Hardware tab created in the Mix Create. I also noticed that there haven't been any videos online about the Arctis Pro Wireless and how to route it using the Mix Create. I have it connected via USB from the gaming PC and use a Digital Out from my Streaming PC to hear everything from the Streaming PC in my headphones. That way if I just game, I can still use my headsets separately and just change the source. Is there a better way to do it, or is this the recommended way for the Arctis/Mix Create routing?
@Naaackers2 жыл бұрын
Yo whats up dude. So if I understand your setup correctly, I think that you should have the Arctis wireless pro connected to your streaming PC since that is where the mix create is plugged in. That way, in the mix create, you could set the artcis pro base station as your default playback device. Then, if your gaming PC is sending all of it's audio over to the streaming PC, you can add that as another hardware/aux fader and monitor all the audio from both PC's. That make sense? BTW their discord is filled with lots of people with the same headset as you so I know that people are making it work!
@EdgardoCosmezethstrike2 жыл бұрын
@@Naaackers Thanks for the info. I was able to tinker around and since the device recognizes where the main device is coming from, I was able to add it to the gaming PC and route it via the Aux input to the Arctis while still being able to hear the streaming PC's stuff. I will try it your way since I am sure that putting it on the streaming PC may make it sound better, but I lose all profiles since I load games on the other PC.

Yeah it's really a balance of want and sacrifice, whether you want the Beacn Mix Create on the Gaming PC or the streaming PC. Just got my mix create in the mail and was trying to set it up on my gaming pc instead of on streaming pc like yours... what would you say the advantages of having it connected to your stream pc vs the other way around are?
@Naaackers2 жыл бұрын
HEY THERE RJ, SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY. youtube notifications SUCK SOMETIMES. So when you have the mix create on your gaming PC, you get to use the app when you're not streaming. You get all that control on your gaming PC and your streaming PC doesn't have to be on. But then you're sending all your audio over to the streaming PC over the single channel. you lose out on being able to have that control and apply filters in OBS that way. Since i bought a Mix for my gaming PC, totally made sense to have it on the streaming pc. Hope that makes sense!

So I use a laptop as my stream pc, which only has the one port that is headphone/mic. Would you recommend just getting an audio interface and use that as the line in/line out for the stream pc? Hopefully you are able to reply to this as your video was very helpful. But I have a small issue that I was hoping that you could help me with. I have a dual pc set up where I run everything on my stream PC like (Browser, Discord, OBS...ect....) and on my gaming PC I only run games that's it. I saw that on the diagram that you had one BEACN Mix and one BEACN Mix Create, do both PC's need a BEACN to work? Also, While I had it hooked up, I thought it was only sending the MIC over to the gaming PC but for me it was sending everything back to my gaming PC to where If I was playing a game my friends could hear the game double feed and whatever else was playing on my streaming pc.
@Naaackers4 ай бұрын
Hey dude! To answer your first question, no you do no need a beacn on the gaming PC. That's really just a volume controllers on that PC, and is not required. It's just nice to have, but you could do that with any other controller or even just software if you wanted to! The mix create is the really the brain behind it all, as that gives you the submixing and the ability to split things into channels. Regarding your second question, if your beacn mix create is on the streaming PC, and so is your mic, and peeps in discord are hearing your Gaming PC audio, then it's a routing table configuration. On my routing table, under the "voice chat mic" row, the only green checkmark I have is under the "mic relay". every other column "hardware, chat, system, browser", are all unticked and should have the red icon. That row decides what audio gets piped into your mic channel. That's my assumption without being able to see your table. Hope that helps!
@nonlimitsoldier4 ай бұрын
@@Naaackers First and foremost, thank you so much for responding. Topic 1: Thank god because I couldn't afford two of them lol. Topic 2: the double feed was in game chat. Hey dave - you'd have great luck joining the beacn discord, they are awesome with helping out people with issues. With that said, i'll do my best. I just re did my whole setup and re-set this up so it's fresh in my mind. On the streaming PC, the aux cable is supposed to go from your audio/line out(the green port) to the blue line in port on your gaming PC. With windows 10 and 11, when you plug it in, your computer should give you the 'waht did you plug in?' prompt. You have to make a choice or else the computer will not pass through sound. With that connected, as long as you have selected to copy chat mic output to the audio/line out green on streaming PC, it should go. the only other factors here, is that you do not have your mic selected in the mic channel, or you don't have the the 'voice chat mic' checked in the 'voice relay' routing table. Would highly suggest getting in the beacn discord so you can post some screenshots! I'm in there, so when you make your post, tag me and if I'm around i'll over some help. Cheers.

Going off your diagram, you have a beacn mix connected to your gaming pc and the beach mix create connected to the stream pc..? This way you have control over chat and audio on your game without having to assign a different fader for one control on the stream pc?
@Naaackers9 ай бұрын
You're correct in your statement of how they are plugged in. Almost always, I run Discord VOIP on the streaming PC. I keep the Beacn Mix on my gaming PC for times when I truly only need the 1 pc, as it gives me audio control when I'm not using the streaming PC at, like just gaming by myself or with a few friends. So if I have music or something in a web browser playing while gaming, I can have that audio control with the Beacn Mix. In summary, if I'm just gaming or using the gaming computer, I'm just using the gaming PC and the Beacn Mix. If I'm doing any kind of recording or streaming, the streaming PC is "awake" and I'm using the beacn mix create as the audio routing table for multitrack recording. really, I'm using both the beacn mix and the mix create in tandem when both PC's are being used.
