it’s not the “let’s go” or the choreography, if you know music that part of the song introduces new chord changes and they were able to “transport” the melody to work with those new chords. The effect is amplified because all along the verse + chorus chord changes occurred over only one bass note, "D". The transition to new chords + new bass notes is such a high point it feels like an ecstasy and she exploits the momentum with dance moves. It’s great

Well, Miley has been consistent in some area (lol...). Otherwise she wouldn't get *any* attention. At least Dua Lipa is bringing something else to the table. That said, I couldn't care less about such performances, personally. I obviously clicked for her and the tunes, mainly, and not really about the dance moves and the silly comment wars regarding them...

Same! No need to call her a guilty pleasure - I grew up on punk rock and classic rock, but was always taught that there was no shame in loving great pop music. From ABBA, to P!nk, to one of my all-time favourites Carly Rae Jepsen, to Taylor Swift, and to Dua Lipa!

I love how fabulous Dua has become since she started barely shaking a leg and now she is giving us full routines and dances so professionally but also so unique to her....
