Thank you Sir for this great investment. My only humble concern is that our cities in Zimbabwe occupy the prime agricultural land. The way Dubai is developed in my view has less influence on nature and agriculture since its vast sands. But as for Zimbabwe, I think we need to develop more infrastructure in areas which have less to offer in terms of Agriculture .
@gabrieltinashemusewu45752 жыл бұрын
My thoughts also especially were they are building the new city . The soil around that area is best for agriculture

@lawrencedzedze48702 жыл бұрын
@@gabrieltinashemusewu4575 very true. We need to consider the natural value of the environment also. Oil producing countries will not build infrastructure on oilfields. Even Harare is on prime Agricultural land. The project is good news though. Its just this humble concern.

Some of the schools in area around where he wants to develop have 89 children per class! Its his development or more schools for the people who can't afford private schooling. Harare has such a critical water shortage. Its not about reclaiming land - we need those wetlands for water!

His developments are at the expense of the poor. And that is needed for schools for the poor, ge wants to put luxury housing on. Many of his developments are also on wetlands which threatens the water supply for the whole city. This man is all about personal greed at the expense of everyone else. He could donate land for government schools. Lets see if greed wins or the good of many prevails

Well, we do not want to be a copy of Dubai. The tall buildings are not what makes a city attractive, they are not safe, and they represent a severe shortage of land. Zimbabwe has more land than UAE and has no need to go upwards, but rather sideways, with emphasis on natural beauty gardens and waterways, than on artificial high-rise buildings. By the way, we are not supposed to go upwards because it depicts pride and arrogance. We must obey our Creator, who said He will destroy all tall buildings because they represent pride
