Hi Sachi, Agree with most of what you said. I know it very well because I have been in Dubai for 11 years. If you are in a labour job with the lowest monthly salary (like 1500-2000 aed), you will get facilities like accommodation, transport and utility. I always try to say that our people should not even think of coming here for such jobs. Seeing the suffering of those people. I accidentally saw your channel because it said Dubai in the thumbnail. It is different company to company. In our company, they say the gross package including superannuation. When I get the salary, it is net of superannuation. But I know my husband company, superannuation is paid separately

It doesn't change from company to company. Every company in Australia has to follow Australian Superanunation regulations. Guaranteed Superanunation Contribution (10.5%) is paid by the employer. The company pays 10.5% of your gross towards your superanunation. If it is deducted from your gross pay, it has to be your voluntary contribution by you. Employees can choose to voluntarily contribute towards their super or not contribute at all.

Yes of course u can come. U can come as student to do a master here or u can apply directly PR if u have enough points under 189, 190,491 visa. Other option is through work visa if u can get a job here with sponsorship.

First you go to GP. GP will refer you to either government hospital or private hospital . In Government hospitals , midwives do regular check ups and if there are complications, they will put us to a doctor. In Private, you will get assigned Gynaecologist , but need to pay a management fee which is not covered from Insurance. However that Gynaecologist will take care of u until delivery.

I am comparing Dubai vs here. I am more than happy to be here than Dubai bcz my main concern was not the money I got, but the work pressure I had. Here I have work life balance and I really admire it. BTW regarding superannuation, when they are offering my gross package, they are telling including the super. When I get salary to my hand, I will get Gross minus Super. It can be changed company to company. I always encourage ppl to come australia or go to any other country considering current situation in Sri Lanka. Thank u so much for ur comment

There's nothing called gross package. Salary package = gross salary + superanunation guarantee paid by employer + any other perks. Employer super contribution is 10.5% of your gross salary. It is paid in addition to the gross salary. Salary package and gross salary are two different things.
