Emirates Flight 521 (EK521/UAE521) was a scheduled international passenger flight from Thiruvananthapuram, India, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operated by Emirates using a Boeing 777-300. On 3 August 2016 the aircraft, carrying 282 passengers and 18 crew, crashed while landing at Dubai International Airport.
All 300 people on board survived the accident; 32 were injured and 4 were seriously injured. An airport firefighter died during the rescue operation; another seven firefighters were injured. The accident is the only hull loss of an Emirates aircraft.

Although the weather conditions were very adverse for a normal landing, why did the Captain retrieve the landing gears so hastily, when the situation was so risky.That was the main reason for the belly landing and the resultant fire...😢

Not very relevant; @2:51, the model /type is shown as 777-200LR, which is not correct. But Aircraft Reg. on wing is right on. Then, its been a while since the Accident Report was read, so not sure about wind direction/wind shear. @5:47 I would say it was not Headwind rather Crosswind at ~ 60° or more that hit her. The tell tale sign is the relative lift of Port Wing inducing a banking to Right. Good job on hitting the core reason. Boeing was renowned for its Robust Airframe before, now cost cutting/ weight management all made it just good enough to meet safety codes.

ഈ ഏഴു മിനുട്ടിനുള്ളിൽ എയർപോർടിലെ രക്ഷാ സുരക്ഷ സംവിധാനം ആക്റ്റീവ് ആയില്ലേ? 4000 ഫീറ്റ് ലേക്ക് ഉയരാൻ ATC കമാൻഡ് എയർ ക്രാഫ്റ്റ് failed ആയപ്പോൾ ATC അപകടം മണത്തറിഞ്ഞു പ്രവർത്തിക്കണമായിരുന്നു. മുൻപ് രണ്ട് എയർ ക്രാഫ്റ്റുകളും ലാൻഡ് ചെയ്യാതെ ഉയർന്നു പോയതും അറിഞ്ഞു ATC mind ചെയ്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഈ accident സംഭവിക്കില്ലായിരുന്നു. ATC ആണ് പ്രതി. പക്ഷേ pilot ഡ്രഗ്സ് ആണെന്നാണ് അന്ന് പൊതുവെ ഇവിടെ പരന്ന വാർത്ത. ( in dxb)

In a first glance, what you mentioned looks correct logically, but that was not the case. The accident report from UAE's GCAA states indeed there were Tailwinds at 12L and 30R of 12 and 16 kt respectively. The presenter said it right here on tailwinds from both ends of Rwy.

Our mallus don't care about own precious life because their first preference is luggage... onboard 90% passengers really disappointed about their check In luggage because in that luggage their precious lemon 🍋 pickles and cocunut dry powder chatni😂😂... especially Trivandrum and kollam people...Am also from kollam I know our people mentality 😂😂... before landing in TVM airport people will disconnect the seat belts I have experience in my past travel 😂.. but if they come back to UAE airport they will disconnect the seat belts after final stop 😂😂I don't know why 😂😂....
