Dublin Bus fit equipment to protect their drivers from assault

Protective screen & autofare are introduced to the Dublin Bus fleet to combat the violent attacks on drivers.This measure was taken in the mid 1990's.

All buses in the UK should have a no change given system where the fares go into the vaults. Dublin Bus and National Express West Midlands have the right idea here.

dublin bus have had a no change system since the mid 1980s, 1986 to be precise.
