One thing that I have been very surprised by about the DART, in the 20 years that I’ve been living in Manchester U.K. compared to when I used to live in Ireland growing up, that when I come home to Ireland now, the DART trains are much longer, reflecting the demand for them, even outside of peak hours - staying with family in Rural Ireland when I’m home, I can get the train into Dublin Connolly and visit friends near Sandymount - I just wish they would build a DART or LUAS line all the way to the Irish Ferries terminal in North Wall, as I come home on SailRail via Holyhead and it drives me mad having very limited access into the City Centre - they should re-open the ferry terminal at Dun Laoire as I’d sooner sail from Liverpool making use of Manchester Victoria, as I hate platform 14 at Manchester Piccadilly and changing trains at Chester/Crewe, especially when coming from Manchester Metrolink trams - smaller passenger only ferries should sail further up the Liffey at high tide, which would make things so much easier when they ban flights between the U.K. and Ireland

so what if you wanna go to Malahide on the DART, do you get the one that says Malahide then Howth obviously????? havent been on the DART in years

You just get the one that says Malahide on the front. The line splits at Howth Junction & Donaghmede station so some trains go to Howth and some go to Malahide.

Interesting the contrast between the CIE controlled DART and the privately-managed Luas system. The former is drowning in graffiti - the latter eliminates it as soon as it appears and it is rare. Also - the punctuality of the Luas, despite it having to compete with on-street traffic, is vastly superior to the unimpeded Dart.

I'm guessing he means there is graffiti all over trains and stations in Berlin. Or that they are even more efficient than the LUAS. Best part of remote working is not having to get the DART anymore
