Mr. Treehugger, you are a good advocate for the sanctity of the performance which I respect. I enjoy the whole street scene. It's like I am out circulating while sitting at home. I enjoy seeing people I recognize but don't actually know like Mark, Charlie, Sarah and Philip in the audience and knowing Sean, who I have interacted with via the comment section, is unseen but behind the camera. It's part of the appeal for me along with the vibrancy of the city.

Mark and Allie spend all weekend in Grafton Street so they are bound to appear in other artists' videos, especially if Allie is waiting in line. You can see Mark at 1:54 being helpful by giving some advice to another busker about where might be a good spot to set up as the queue at BT was long.

@philipshier6385 Hi, Philip. I live in the USA and have seen you in the crowd supporting Allie and the other buskers.always wanted to say hi to you. Please understand what you see, and what I see on video is different. I see Mark interrupting Allie every song, stopping her when she starts to sing. Then he starts singing and for us it's louder than Allie. We tune in to see her sing she has a brain let her talk and sing to the crowd without interrupting.

@@davidlawson4159 Hi David - yes, I live in Dublin so I get the opportunity to watch Allie and other buskers most weekends and if I’m away I sometimes catch Allie’s livestream so I appreciate it is a different experience. There is a lot of interaction between Mark and Allie - I guess that’s because they have been doing it for about 7 years. Sometimes Mark asks her to bring in the crowd (which as you know she usually has to do several times in a set) and occasionally reminds her to plug the CDs, but quite often Allie initiates the conversation, asking what song she should do or if the amp/sound/balance needs adjusting. This isn’t really an issue for those watching live, but I agree can be tedious on the livestream, and an added bonus of being there is that you can position yourself away from Mark so don’t get the backing vocals.😊😊
