It's called rudiments meaning he doesn't have to move his hand as fast but use the rebound of the sticks to get more beats out of one stroke

Been a fan for a while Matt finally remembered to subscribe. Im a hard rock / metal guy first n foremost but ive got a 13 year old who loves his dubstep and ive been showing him your vids and encouraging him, i put an electronic drumkit in his room...he plays it now and again haha..youre a killer player..watching you play these songs brings them to life and makes them sound so much better.
