You'll get your wheelie fun mode with the map that comes with the full exhaust. Pretty happy that I did find a dealer who won't add anything beyond the standard destination fee (no "prep" charge) when mine cones in, and please clean your camera lens so we can see this beauty better next time. Thanks for all the info and the depth that seems to be lacking from so many others.

100% agree they run lean from factory. Also I noticed your tank sounded pressurized , I also had the same issue. Ducati is selling these things with the fuel tank vent plugged! Check the line behind your brake foot. Theres a clear plastic plug that needs to be pulled.

Thanks.

with euro 5 most bikes running lean, especially big single like this, the 690 also suffer the same with that extremely hot exhaust
@churchofbrap8769 ай бұрын
I have a plug in mine, dealer said that needs to remain there. Are u sure that is a fuel tank vent? How can Ducati just vent that to atmosphere and still pass EPA stuff? Typically that has to vent to charcoal canister, no?
@MotardPilot9 ай бұрын
@@churchofbrap876 so come to find out that plug is there to force the system to vent through the charcoal canister.. so if you unplug it , it bypasses it which is why they say to leave it. Even though one guy at the dealer said to pull it… mixed info 😒

Keep the KTM. Give the Duc a few years for the aftermarket to develop like it has for several years now with the KTM. Both great bikes for sure, but KTM has a head start with this type of bike.

Thanks David. Can't wait to see the Dyno run, and what you think of the suspension overall. And appreciate the info on the oil change. We think alike on initial oil changes and intervals. Will be interesting to see the Dyno info before and after the exhaust swap, and how it sounds and performs. I assume the Ducati dealer will do something with the "tune" when you get this installed? And curious how the bike would run, and sound with just the cans replaced, not the entire system. Kind Regards

I agree, super cool machine, but the price point is ridiculous. I sat on one at Lynnwood Motoplex and was digging it, but when I heard the price, I jumped right off. If Ducati wants to move many of these in the US, the base model should start under $10K in my opinion.
