Super super impressive!! The bike AND the riding. It's amazing when learning about the Monster lineup how the 797 is actually a step back in pep and power. This 696 seems very sporty the engine characteristic has some nice zest at the top. It seems really enjoyable!! The valves service on the other hand ... lol PS I don't think anyone is pulling this off on a stock SV650 of any year. That's for sure.

I'd be working on using 1 or 2 fingers on that clutch Bud not 4

Or clutchless changes ! My Vit 401 loves them (no quick shifter).

Is that without the restrictors
@joes.h368710 ай бұрын
There’s no restrictors in this bike?

no chance the 659 moves like that
@joshthomas25362 жыл бұрын
Try one and find out, its only a 10 minute job to take off the restrictor to gain an extra 20hp which is close to a 50% increase. Don't be mad because a turbo barra doesn't move like that😂

@@joshthomas2536 ah yea thanks for telling me a 1700kg car doesn’t move like a bike, 380kw is more than enough for me

@@joshthomas2536 my zx10r, that I’ve owned since new also is good enough for me. haven’t ridden a 659 since I got my ls in 05, mt07 was a much better bike.

it def does not, but a 696 like this one can def move like this.

@@turbobarra326 MT07 handles like a bucket of shit. Doesn’t come near the 659. And before you correct me I’m a Yamaha salesman. You’ve got no idea and clearly haven’t ridden either bike.

Just blur the instruments in post production. That has to be aussie - those 40km corners are pretty relaxed.... Nice video mate. I used to like the twisty road from Wollongong up on to the plateau ( 20 years ago ) - made me laugh every time watching the way aussie drivers dealt with the hairpins ! I rather think you would enjoy that road - your lean angles are getting there.
