I’m struggling to find neutral on this bike. Sounds like you didn’t have any trouble. Should I bring it up to the mechanics or is there anything I can do to fix it
@MultiMb775 жыл бұрын
Hey, I have since ridden another 821 and actually found it harder to select neutral, that one was brand new. Did you buy yours from new? selecting neutral tends to be harder from 0 miles but is supposed to ease up, this particular bike was a demo bike so has been run in. Something you could try is taking it into neutral as your still rolling to stop, my friend has a Supersport and had awful troubles but finds going into neutral as he pulls up easier.

I am recently considering to buy between 821 and BMW G310R for my first bike, which one is better? plz let me know..
@MultiMb775 жыл бұрын
oreolic I am going to say the 821 by miles! The reason is the 310 is a 300cc 33hp bike so is a lightweight learner bike. This will feel slow on faster road and wouldn’t have the power to get up to speeds. The monster may even be a little too powerful for your first bike, but if you watch my video about superbikes as your first bike you will see my opinion on this! The 821 is a much more powerful and expensive bike, so it’s difficult to compare the two bikes you suggest as the are very different
@thehakimies15 жыл бұрын
G310R. it's a lot safer to ride a smaller bike and learn how to ride safely with traffic , how to brake, how to corner , etc. Monster 821 may be too powerful for you to handle as a first bike. after a year or so once you're confident of your riding abilities and feel that the G310R is too slow, you can always upgrade to the monster
@navyrotc20125 жыл бұрын
I’ll be honest, the electronics have changed the game. If you leave that 821 in urban mode which leaves all the electronics on and reduces the power to roughly 75hp for 6 months you’ll be okay starting here.
@MultiMb775 жыл бұрын
navyrotc2012 this is a VERY good point!! Thanks for adding that!
@asmrastro76304 жыл бұрын
Well if you haven’t already purchased your new bike I would suggest the 821. I just bought one this summer as my first bike and couldn’t be any happy. After receiving mixed advice and comments such as “the bikes too powerful” I went ahead and got one anyway. The ride modes are great to help you get a feel for the bike as well. Once you get comfortable with the bike in the urban ride mode, you’ll be ready to rip it in the sport and touring modes as well.

@mrmarrow89185 жыл бұрын
Great! One minute 4 wheels the next just 2 and very fast ones too! Stay safe! Shame the GT4 is going... will you be doing one last video with it before it goes? and what sort of car will you replace it with? now that you've tasted fast motorbikes, I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like an Ariel Atom?!
@MultiMb775 жыл бұрын
Mr Marrow yeah it is, but I just wasn’t using it. I don’t think I will get a chance as it’s at a dealer now. I am getting away from the track setup (hence selling the Gt4) as it’s just not me, I prefer more refinement. Top of the list at the moment is an Audi R8, also looking at Aston Martin Vantage. Depending on business, if things take off, I need to tick the Lamborghini & Ferrari box, but that would be later next year

The MT09 is much stronger down low. The 821 is a middle thing between MT07 and MT09. When MT09 is on A mode, it blast the monster away. 765RS is close to MT09

Yeah, no doubt.. if you watch my video on the MT09 I call it the hooligan bike, it’s a lot of fun and really useable.. I love it. The monster is much more solid and better built, so my money would go to Ducati all day over the MT09
