Awesome!! Beautiful video and beautiful bike! I am like you, I am a big fan of the natural machined look/color and would prefer something that wasn't painted over unless you are able to see the machining through the paint or if it was meant to be blacked out. I agree with your color choices with the reservoirs as it matched the red part of the frame of your bike. Some may say the video is a bit long, but it's definitely justified since you talked about each of the modifications pretty in-depth and gave your opinion on them as well. Absolutely love all the detail you've put into this bike...makes me want to take extra good care of the things I currently have as well haha. Your audio in this video was spot on, many people are audiophiles and really appreciate good clean and clear audio, and you definitely scored with that one. Awesome video, and I look forward to seeing more of them in the future.

TTG, thank you for all your inspiration and incredible advice. You've provided some really good feedback for my next vid. I did my best to trim the footage. I'm looking forward to posting the next vid. Again, Thank you!

Diesel… that's a statement you have refined taste, so if you're into fragrances (or aren't yet). I would highly suggest you pass by a Sephora store and give Dior Fahrenheit a try - the classic Fahrenheit, Eau de Toilette (old school from 1988), not the new 2014 Eau de Parfum. Don't spray on paper strips, spray on your skin, and see how it evolves throughout the day. Then go back and try it again and again. You may not like it at first, but give it time, trust me it's quality, and you'll come to appreciate it greatly. And your girlfriend will be like damn, what are you rocking? Something tells me it'll go like a dream with that killer bike of yours - to put it simple, if your Ducati Monster could bleed, it would bleed Fahrenheit. Good taste sir, good taste. Take care. Big fan of the channel.

That's great, thanks. You have given me some great ideas. I'll be taking delivery of my 795 in a few weeks. I can't help but start to "fiddle" with the "out of the box" look to create what i believe are improvements. My top 4 hit list are: 1. get rid of that passenger foot-peg frame - it's redundant. 2. the grips. I don't have large hands but - i just find the stock grips are too small and don't give me a good controlling grip. 3. the mirrors - the stock mirrors look like ones that my mother would specify, very practical and safe. 4. the exhaust cans - maybe this should be #1, but it's the most expensive, so it's at #4.
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+Stephen Evans LOL - I'm glad this vid inspired you to have great ideas for your bike. :) Exhausts and ECU is an absolute must and I know it is the most expensive, but best to get out of the way first in my opinion. It will reduce the weight dramatically. If you don't plan on riding 2up at all, then removing the rear pegs makes it look even more amazing. Yes, definitely change the bunny ears! Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel. :)
@Lordaniel8999 жыл бұрын
+CLUTCH1ST - I've now had the bike for a few weeks, rode down to Kep from Phnom Penh, for the weekend (I live in Phnom Penh) it's a great bike. Because of the mad traffic here, i don't use my Ducati as a commuter, it's mostly a weekend tourer - although pulling up at one of PP's numerous really cool bars - is also a good look. I agree with you about changing the exhaust, it's like any bad news, do it quick - there is an official Ducati dealership here, so I'll order the Termignoni's in January. My only complaint about the bike is - there's no delicate way to put this........it crushes my balls - don't know if it's the seat angle or the fuel tank, but it's persistent and uncomfortable.
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+Stephen Evans LOL, sorry to hear about your nuts. Easy fix though. I've done a ton more upgrades on the bike and outputting a lot more power. Check out my instagram! You can easily get some Techspec tank sliders which will help with balls issues and with cornering really low on the mountains. Wayyyyy better grip.

@VespertiliKildem9 жыл бұрын
Hey Clutch, can I ask you something? The seat looks like the Diavel seat. How.... how did you manage to fit it in a Monster? I mean, are seats universal? Did you have to modify something? I want to buy a StreetFighter Ducati, and that seat is just PURE pain. Yes, they sell the "comfort seat" but meh. I was wondering why and how exactly you changed your seat.
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+Vespertili Kildem The seat and rear cowl is a limited edition collaboration between Diesel and Ducati. I would run you $1,500. It would not fit a StreetFighter. I'm actually in the market for a StreetFighter also. I just don't think its a good purchase at 15k as a bare bone bike. You're better off buying a 1200 Monster S or R at that price point. Thank you for watching and glad you liked the vid.

Lol thanks man, glad you liked the vid. I'm not sure to be honest, the money was not the focus. It's well over another bike's cost. Lol . Live life and be happy and don't focus on the dollar sign too much. :) Yup, I do collect watches as well.

sick bike man. I've got the 796 in black and red and you have given me the mod bug. never loved termis till I've seen your vids. I really wanted to go with the mivv suono for mine.. ever heard them or looked into them?
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+Rob Bannister Thanks man. Glad you liked what I've done to the bike. It's been improved a lot more since then. I'll be doing an update vid soon. There's a lot of exhaust you can get for the Monster but I prefer Termignoni with the ECU upgrade. The engine breaths better and added performance. Trust me, I haven't heard a better sounding exhaust on the Monster.

Nice vid man. Have an fz-07 really looking into monsters for my second bike. Love the way they look. You probably have the best looking Monster I have seen by far. By the way what riding pants were you wearing in the vid?
@ClutchFirst7 жыл бұрын
CChris The Monster has come a long way since this vid. I'll be doing an update video soon. Running a Fuel management system, Quick Shifter, adaptive headlight etc. Check IG for more info. The pants I was wearing are Ralph Lauren Motorcycle Riding Pants.

Awesome walkround mate. I loving those camera angles? 1. Did you do that in one take or did you have to do it many times from the different angles? 2. What camera/mic setup do you have/use?
@ClutchFirst10 жыл бұрын
BikeThing Thank you man. I'm glad you liked the vid. I did one take where I did the entire walk around. Afterwards I shot several B rolls and different angles. I use 2 mics. One boom and a lavalier mic. As for camera, I used a EOS 70D and an iPhone 5S with a lens kit with and a stabilizer. I really enjoy shooting these vids. Hopefully it shows. :)

First off I think your bike is really well done. Secondly, I have an artificial knee and need some "really" adjustable rear sets for my Monster R. I've noticed the black plate with the multiple holes machined into it that your rear sets mount too. Was that a separate part? I don't see that available with the Rizoma rear sets . Can you tell me where that came from.Thx - B (Seattle)
@ClutchFirst8 жыл бұрын
+Burke de Briere Thank you and welcome to the channel. The Rizoma Rearsets comes as shown in the vid and fully adjustable to fit a specific riding style and comfort. Give the guys at motovationusa.com a call and they will answer all your question. Let them know you came from this Clutch1st vid.

Hey you've got a great looking bike. Just wondering if you purchased the full termi exhaust or just the slip on's? Do you know if both options sound the same? Do you notice any difference in the way it performs from the stock pipes to the termi's?
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
Bruce Wee Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. I have the full system on my bike which gives you added HP and a new CPU that can be remapped. You can do two things to achieve a deeper and even louder exhaust if you choose to: 1. remove the db killers. 2. Remove the servo motor near the tail of the bike. If you are removing the servo motor, make sure you know exactly what you are doing or you might get an engine error on your dash. There's a huge difference between the OEM stock pipes in comparison to the Termis. You engine breathes better, plus you shed a ton of weight.
@brucewee21629 жыл бұрын
Clutch1st Thanks for the quick reply! Ok so what your saying is that the CPU comes with the full termi exhaust package? Does it come with programming instructions or would you just recommend the dealer to take care of it?
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
You can buy the Termignoni exhaust alone for $1,000 plus. The full package with the CPU for roughly $1,700. It does not come with mapping instructions. I would recommend letting your certified Ducati dealer do it he work

thank you very much for the detailed information, just one last question is this handle bar size the closest to the OEM fitment ? i kind like the semi-"aggressive" feeling of the OEM bar. thanks again.

+Baha Yavas It's tough to say man lol. I could have easily bought a second bike. Termignoni Exhaust and ECU alone is $2,500...Rizoma Rear Sets is roughly $1,500. I lost track of the money part. I do love everything I've done to the bike though. Carbon Fibre upgrades are currently being done. Subscribe to know when I do an update vid. Thank you for watching.

Hey man, I like what you've done with your monster. I recently bought a used monster and the rear view mirrors shakes quite a bit while I'm riding. How does the aftermarket rear view mirrors perform?
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+Haziq Zamri Thanks for watching man. The aftermarket Rizoma mirrors I got works much better than the OEM ones. I can't speak for other brands but I can assure you, if you buy a quality mirror you shouldn't have any problems.
@Haziqevo9 жыл бұрын
No worries, its a great video and you have awesome mods. Its not ideal for me to get the bar end ones like yours because it will hit cars' side mirrors in traffic but i'm looking for cool ones to replace the semi-useless ones I have. Thanks for the feedback man!
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+Haziq Zamri I'm actually glad you mentioned that. I recently got a second set of Rizoma mirrors and they are not bar-ends. I've done a tons more to the bike and its looking and performing even better than before. I'll be doing an update video down the line. Hopefully soon!

Are these Termignoni full system or slip on with the ECU? Or did you also just flashed the factory ECU by Ducati? And one think did u install the exhaust by youre self? Sry if i asked too much:) I thinking to get one of these :)

and btw very nice looking deatails.... I love it! ^^
@lorenzomagazzeni54259 жыл бұрын
primmo83 Of course you have to mess around with the ECU - I had, when they were still available, - Termi racer carbonfiber and I had to have a new ECU unit installed, I'm 15 pounds lighter and the engine is very happy. It was like 2K...
@ClutchFirst9 жыл бұрын
+primmo83 It's the full Termignoni system and ECU. I got it done at the dealer so the bike didn't run too rich. Plus you get an added 4 or 5 HP.
