Good job! I bought one just like that for a couple hundred dollars many years ago in running but scruffy condition. Planning on putting a 350 Sebring engine in it. I also have a Diana and Sebring, both of which I've put a lot of miles on and both run very well. The NC singles are great bikes! The YT site Back to Classics has a series of videos on rebuilding a 200cc NC single. If you haven't seen it, it's filled with good info.

Paul check the ground surfaces, page 86 right column 2nd paragraph in your Clymer manual the orange one.. I Just called you and left phone# I may have some information on LED bulbs for head light, parking lamp, and tail light bulb. If you noticed you have a great 28 watt generator so switching to LED helps a bunch. I have 64, 65, 66 new and old parts. ron in WA

Use the original shims if you are able. On matched bevel gear set you will see a grind mark. When they are flush to each other the shimming is correct. otherwise you need to use a blueing agent to see how the gear teeth mesh togather and backlash should be nill with no binding The original factory workshop manual is the best source for this information. I think copies of it is available. Shimming the bevel gears is not easy. Especially the first time doing it. The gears should not have slop. But it Is not perfect . Get it as close as you are able with no binding. look at the grind mark on the gears . The factory did this to make it easer to set them. This was not mentioned.

Yes, it is now 99% complete. Have a couple new fuel petcocks to install. It runs great and is fun to drive. It's also for sale.

Nice job and informative videos, please upload more! As for the parts, where did you get them? Thanks
@49ProRatStreet2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The best place to find parts is Ebay, motoguzino.com and Ducati Facebook pages. There are 3 restoration videos.

Lacey Ducati in UK is a fabulous source as well. Also in the USA is EuroTrash Jambalaya. Always good to check between them for best prices and availability.

I like such content but really must call you out on some of your claims. I have been involved with Ducati since the early 1970 era. It is incorrect some of the claims you make. Talk to me if you wish to have a discussion

For example? Would like to hear what claims I've made that are wrong?

@@49ProRatStreet HI. it was mainly the claim that Ducati only imported 30 scramblers in 1966. That claim is fiction. A book on Ducati singles may still be available called (Ducati Singles First Person) By Tom Bailey. You may find it interesting as he was involved in an East coast Ducati dealership in the 60s
