I installed the Termi and the upmap today. I am very satisfied. Sound is great. However, I have a muffler without dB killer and one with both killers. I find all killers outside too loud.

Looks and sounds good. Only thing I would check is the order of the heat insulation washer on the carbon covers (think you called it the cork washer). It should go between the carbon and the bracket not the between the carbon and the bolt to insulate the carbon from the heat of the bracket. Might also sort out some of the alignment issues.

Very nice. Termi and akras are, tbh, on a different level. I know you're not a big fan of the akra, but I've always personally found a ducati sounds best with a termi or an akra. And they both give you a great starting point on the map front. Enjoy, Bill :)

This might be true for Akra, but if it wasnt for their love affair with Ducati, I'm convinced Termi wouldn't be making exhaust anymore. My experience with their products is mostly the result of their privileged and historical relationhip with Ducati, strongly cornening the Ducati exhaust aftermarket by bundling DP ECU and up-map keys. From new, the quality was meh, the welds laughable, the fitting questionable and the install instructions often printed on a tiny sheet of paper, from a black and white printer running out of ink. After 2 years, the poor quality was even more obvious, the carbon sleeves usually discolored, and some cans needed work from developping an annoying rattling noise. Usually end-up selling the pipes, and keeping the DP ECU

Bill, great video! The carbon fiber bits need to be sandwiched between the two washers provided. The carbon fiber can overheat if it isn't thermally insulated properly. Ride safe!

The arrow exhaust sounded great but it seemed like it never shut up and was just always loud. I dig these termi's for the sound and the finish. Only down side to me is the lack of the piping shown, one the the coolest thing about the streetfighter is getting to see the titanium exhaust pipes and their curves, you don't get that with this exhaust. Great video for the install though, good info. Hope you don't have anything too major going on and can be back to riding after Oct!

Why respringthe shock? From what I gather, you should only do that if you can’t set your sag with your current spring. The main thing to follow is that, your sag should be set with the lowest possible preload.

Great video and helped me tremendously in my own install of the Termi. on my V4S. So, I reinstalled the servo motor and plugged back in the electric plug (after removing the cables). I know that's a few ounces of weight but I figured that by keeping the servo motor installed and the wire plugged in, it won't throw an error code and won't harm anything. Also, in case someone in the future wants to bring it back to stock, having the servo motor in place would help. My question is...when I do the T800 upmap, will having the servo motor plugged in cause any issues?

You don't need to keep it in, but it won't cause issues the tune disables it.

@@MotoKDub I went with a open flash tablet tune for my 2023 sfv4s bike runs amazing now got 2000 miles on it! 1400 with the tune! Stage 2! My understanding is if there ever is major failure they’d have to prove it. The bike is so dang fast! The bike should be about 220 ish at crank now and open flash dynoed his 2023 was like 199 hp! So definitely happy with the bike exhaust sounds pretty dang sweet! Just as loud as my 17 FZ10 with Austin racing exhaust!

Hi. I had the arrow on my v4s panigale and found it a little too loud for everyday use, not much but a little. But the sound was great. Now I'm getting a streetfighter and want another exhaust. Would you say that the termi still sounds good without the dB killer? Muffled like a Ducati? Or is the sound not as good as the arrow. The standard exhaust is not an option, I find it far too quiet and doesn't sound good. So I'm again wavering between the Arrow and the termis. So the termi ist louder than the standard, isn’t it?

The termi is only a little quieter because it has to be broken inn. The arrow broke in a long time ago buddy.

Stock rearsets are about in the same position. We didn't adjust it much forward or back, just raised them up a tad.
