I like the duck tape hacks, they are great. However, what is even better is your sense of humor and ability to make a very fun to watch video. I made a frog lure and a fish lure out of duct tape but haven't caught anything with it yet. Your plastic bag with duck tape was my favorite.

This video inspired me to make my own on the rod reel covers that fit both baitcast and spinning reels for less than a $1.00 a piece and some time. Duct tape, Plain freezer bags (no zipper), self-adhesive velcro. Tape the bag (as shown in the video), split the sides as deep as you need, reinforce the end of the split, put the velcro along the inside top of the open bag. Done

Keith another grand slam homer video. All suggested uses as fishing/first aid/and emergency use hacks were AWE-SUM!!! I flew in the Navy and made 7 deployments during my 20 yr. career and I recall the airframe techs using duct tape (or as they called it..."600 MPH tape") on tons of last minute dings on wings or fuselage before launching a plane off the carrier catapult. The tape never failed!!!! Great channel brother!

My husband use to work for a small company who never seemed to have money to fix their vans when they broke down. The U-joints went out in his van. The company just didn't have the money to repair the u-joints so my husband used duct tape to tape everything up. It went for over two weeks, driving well over a hundred miles a day, and held out until they were able to get his van fixed. He was in Dallas traffic every day for those two weeks, so you understand that duct tape had to of worked very well.
@davidharris40302 жыл бұрын
Good stuff as usual! I always keep electrical tape on boat because some of my rods have Tennessee handles. There have been times where I didn’t have any tape on the boat and cut my hand or finger. When that happen I would take some of the electrical tape off one of the Tennessee handle rods to use on the cut. One other thing about using electrical tape for a bandaid is it is a little more flexible allowing you to handle your rods and equipment easier.Duct tape is stiffer but still would use if I didn’t have any electrical tape. I think if it was a deep cut then making the butterfly strips definitely would work better. But truly your right having a whole roll of duct tape just because they are bigger rolls and have more options than electrical tape. I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have both in the boat.Before retiring I kept electrical tape in my back pack. If I got cut at work I would use the tape over a bandaid just because it would hold up longer than a regular bandaid especially if you are sweating! Someone with your knowledge probably could make multiple hacks on any and all tapes. Well you kinda did with the fluorescent tape. I appreciate all your content and always look forward to seeing the next.

Like your diys, I have one I would like to share. It's about the wroms,I used to fish walleye tonaments and we would take a small cooler with some ice a little water ,wash the wroms and put them in the cooler. It keeps them nice and clean then put them back in the dirt when the fishing over. It don't hurt them just keeps them Cool, try it works great..keep the diys coming...

Use strips of duct tape folded over as lures. You can use strips of pillowcase too. Works great for bluegill on the beds and you never lose the sheet it only gets dirty. I know a guy who has used a piece of cloth for over twenty years. He just cuts a little piece at a time

duck tape works better then mole skin if you catch a blister before it forms ( you can feel a hot spot). comes in handy when breaking in new boots. if you put it over a bluster, leave it on till it falls off on its own. or you will be ripping off skin. also great as emergency tinder for building a fire.
