I had no idea just how much I needed this today. In a year and a half I have lost 3 grandparents and have really struggled with grief and loss and like Si was talking about I have found myself at all 3 of their graves sitting and talking to them and crying. I’m catching up on the podcasts and was shocked when you all talked about “can good”… I graduated from Demopolis high school c/o 2000! As a kid growing up I use to see him at every sporting event and it wasn’t until today that I learned his name is Albert 😂! The man is a legend! Little known fact, long before it became a sports phenomenon, he invented “raising the roof”… we all called it “ the can good”, our entire student section would do it at every game when something great happened!

I really enjoy the fact that Martin was honest and said he completely disagreed with the thought from the man's email about Christmas. It's almost as if he was trying to punish them because they wasn't living and acting like he wanted them to and that's not really how it works. You can disagree and want better but it's not anyone's place to try to force things to be like they want them to be from another person there are options that don't hurt anyone and with plenty of those available doing something mean or hurtful is just showing what's inside of you

I agree with Si on the plus or minus on steaks. I worked at a BBQ/Steakhouse years ago and we would use plus or minus to offer something in between medium rare or medium or whatever.
