Where do you get the references for drawing?

I also take the reference images. This duckling is a small crop from a bigger photo I took of three ducklings. 99% of the images I paint are my own reference and I share extra royalty free references on my Patreon channel. Except if it's a commissioned portrait of course, then the reference might be taken by my client.
