I actually really like the Webby being Scrooge's daughter twist, though I am technically biased because I knew before watching the show. Watching with that knowledge from episode 1, it is very clear they had it planned from the beginning. Everything from Beakley's overprotectiveness to Scrooge and Webby's slowly developing relationship has added meaning when viewed through that lens. What the twist does is turn the found family message on it's head in a really fun way. Her whole life she thought she was the biological granddaughter of Mrs. Beakley while not being related to the McDucks. Then she finds out that she is actually a McDuck by blood, but she isn't technically related to Beakley at all. The found family message shines when she embraces both her grandmother and Scrooge at the end. Her not being related to Bleakely changes nothing; she's still the woman who raised her, and there still family. I do think that she inherited some natural talent from Scrooge, but that doesn't really change who she was before. Natural talent is great, but generally it's only responsible for about 10% of a person's skill. The rest they gain from experience and hard work. Scrooge became the toughest of the toughies, smartest of the smarties and sharpest of the sharpies through his 150+ years of adventure. Webby became as skilled as she is by training from Beakley and researching on her own. I don't see how her being Scrooge's daughters changes any of that.

Webby’s skills aren’t because she “inherited” them from Scrooge. She was taught by Beakley to defend herself from a young age.

Only a Poor Old Man (1952) is the comic book story that established Scrooce's character, but the first comic book story by Carl Barks in which Scrooge starred is Christmas on Bear Mountain (1947).

Not a bad review. Although a couple of things I've noticed. Webby by all accounts didn't inherit her skills by having scrooge's DNA, she was trained by Mrs. Beakley to defended her self. Although her obsession of the McDuck family may have to do with that fact. I wasn't disappointed but was wondering what they were going to do with Negaduck. I assume because of writing constraints they simply decided to do nothing with him considering there is a reboot of Darkwing Duck on the way. Would have been nice to see his character again though. Huey's character development for the season somewhat ended in the 14th episode where Huey learns to accept the part of himself he doesn't like. In the last adventure, instead they opted to develop Huey, Dewey, and Louie's relationship with each other which isn't a bad touch. I actually loved the reveal that Webby was related to scrooge, it resolved a long time mystery in the ducktales universe, the origins of Webby Vanderquack. I also like how they incorporated April, May, and June into the universe. Although I wish they had Webby wonder about her origins for more of the season and not just the last episode of the season. I.E kind of like how they did the mystery of the disappearance of Della Duck in season one. However, that's just a nitpick. Had they had a season four it's entirely possible they may have had a season arch for Webby like they did for Huey, Dewey, and Louie. However, there's still one major mystery in the Ducktales universe that has yet to be resolved, who are Huey, Dewey, and Louie's father? That was one mystery I was hoping Ducktales 2017 would be able to answer, but honestly that was wishful thinking. We're never going to find out are we? Overall the finally is amazing and I'm glad they were able to finish the show in a satisfying manor.

Huey's arc is less big and dramatic, his arc is about multiple things,Using his emotions more and the moment with bradford and also going to save webby without looking back was his arc's end of his struggles and also dewey and louie learning that being a woodchuck is not that bad, being the way they found out about this

I don't know how people look down so much on the "Their Just a Clone" thing. Even in the Batman Beyond comparison that you use to justify this, it is clearly stated that "you aren't his clone, you are his son". Webby being a clone of Scrooge, means nothing. She shares genetic code, that is all. It is her upbringing by Mrs. Beakly aka Bentina Beakley, SHUSH Agent 22, that gives her the skill set that she has. It isn't as if they have directly created a clone of Scrooge, scanned his mind, and implanted his memories in aforementioned clone. Again, Webby, and her sisters, share genetic code with someone. That's IT!!!!

I noticed 5 or 6 past toon disney shows in the reboot. And I'm wondering why Bonkers wasn't an easter egg since it was just as popular as the others.
