Figs3 These kinds of friendships are more complicated. I have a best friend as close as this (20 yrs long) and in the past she acted like she was in competition with my bfs.. To the point where a few times I thought she didn't want me with anyone out of jealousy that someone was closely sharing her space in my life. They do have to learn to respect a more serious relationship if the bff really is for you and cares to see you happy.
