VERY WELL DONE Dan for 3rd 🥉 place at the Wingland UK championship :-) You know your stuff (as in your videos) and now shown that your dedication pays off! Nice one man

Really enjoyed that Dan. Thanks for the shout out. I'll need to help.you with the airspeed maths. 😁😁😉

No problem, I’m probably going to grab myself an airspeed indicator so I don’t have to cock around with into and down wind legs and can read the speeds straight away.

I'm 122kg all up with the moster and about to get the 22m Nuc4. Looking forward to it!

You must have it by now, how are you getting along with it? It's still my favourite wing!
@CoyoteOne Жыл бұрын
@@DanielJonesParamotor oh this thing is freaking amazing. Launches easily, really gets playful and I can keep up with friends on Hadrons and Driftairs etc when trimmed out and not fall behind. From a Dudek Solo24m to this, I feel like a sports car. It really throws around and cuts through turbulence too. Doesn't oscillate and I can fly hands off. Everything is just great. Already have 5 hours on it. 22m was the perfect fit top end weight range. Loving every minute of it 🤘

@@CoyoteOne glad to hear you're getting on so well with it, I recommend them so frequently I've almost talked myself into buying one 😂

Nice video and the wing looks great! Just double check your fuel calculations, I’m probably wrong but I think it should be 2.3/0.74 = 3.1L. Good real word review and a great vid!

You’re right, it was brought to my attention earlier today 🤦🏻♂️ will have to address this in a pinned comment. Glad you enjoyed the video, it was a fun wing to fly!

Excellent review video. I really liked the trim/speed/rpm chats. Should be mandatory for any XC suitability discussion.

Agreed! Getting on a wing, wanging about a bit and landing really isn’t testing a wing to its fullest. I’m also quite addicted to numbers at the minute 😂

Awesome Dan! I would be interested how it compares to the XX. I’m either looking at the hadron 3 or Nuk 4. This video helps a lot. Thanks 👍
@DanielJonesParamotor3 жыл бұрын
I’ve never flown one but would like to know the comparison also. Once again, me too, I would be torn between the H3 & Nuc4 if I had the money 😂
@parasportz3 жыл бұрын
Nice in depth review. I too would love to see how it compares to the xx. I have a 24xx and my understanding is that it is sportier and more agile than the N4. I also read a comment where someone with a Reportair thought the Reportair was sportier than the N4 after testing the N4. I wanted more agility, speed an efficiency than the N4 so I opted for a used Hadron xx which I fly very respectfully. I still fly the Nuc xx though as it's pretty bomb proof and still very agile.
@DanielJonesParamotor3 жыл бұрын
Ultimately if you want peak performance in XC you’re looking at the Hadrons hands down. What Dudek have created here is a very nice all rounder wing with simple risers and a better launch characteristics. Sounds like you’ve made the right choice on the Hadron if that’s the features you’re after. I’ll try and do a back to back review against a NucXX as a lot have people are interested 👍

Great video ! Did you have the chance to test toe 22 or 20, I'm curious if Atom80 is able to maintain level flight and how stressed out it is. I'm around you're weight and looking to get new equipment.
@Mavy17042 жыл бұрын
I'am too 👍I have a take off weight of 105kg and have the Atom80 MY22. I would like to test the Nucleon 4 in size 22 soon. I think the Atom80 will be at the limit if you want to fly full speedbars (with speedbar and full trimmers). Only with open trimmers I see no problem. Does anyone have experience?
@DanielJonesParamotor2 жыл бұрын
Hi @Andrei Marius & @Mavy1704 Sorry for the late reply, Since switching to KZbin Studio I don't get notifications like I used to so have missed a lot of comments. I have flown the N4 22m. I'm 62kg and the Atom can maintain level flight at full speed bar. Using a 125cm prop you'll be at the full 9.6k RPM doing 60kph. Trimmed in it drops to 8.1k RPM doing 47.5kph. For cross country flying the 24m produced vastly better figures if you're looking for a better average speed over say a 5 hour flight where you'll use all of your fuel.

I’m sure they would be more like the speeds published on the Dudek website, just need to get my grubby mits on a 20m now 😉

Good review. 👍 I will have to calculate my figures at some point for my Nuc XX and Uni 1. 1
@DanielJonesParamotor3 жыл бұрын
It really tells you a lot about the wing but don’t get caught up on the numbers, how the wing feels is just as important. I’m a bit addicted to inching off another couple ml of fuel at the moment 😂

When are you posting the JOGLE videos?
@Cgjfinn763 жыл бұрын
Great video but mistake in the maths! You should have taken the weight difference and divided it by the weight of a litre of fuel. This would have told you that you burned about 3 to 3.5 litres in that flight. One litre of petrol weighs about 0.71 kgs You were 2.3 kg lighter. 2.3 ÷ 0.71= 3.23 litres Or to put it more simply. If one litre of fuel weighs only .7 of a kg the 3 litres weighs 2.1 kg You had list 2.3kg which indicates slightly over 3 litres. I have a Nucleon xx in 28. And am waiting on my Nuc 4 in 26. Very excited to test it out.
