confused about what you say at 2:08 about playing D Draw over Balance. in my opinion Balance got BUFFED!!! A turn 1 Rosemary is no longer forced to flip herself to defense, because the opponent had no face up monsters. sure you can't get an extra draw with jasmine. but i like being able to have an attack position Rosemary better.

i feel like sweet marjoram would make aromas too strong for duel links. on summon search deck for one of your combo traps; pop 1 card per turn; and targeting protection as long as your LP is higher. sooo much value

I still like to play balance with my Aromas. Even though you can't activate your effects during your first turn, effects that do not require activation (having more LP than your opponent) do still work. So Cananga will still decrease opponent's attack on all face up monsters by 500. Jasmine becomes a decent defense at 1900 for the first turn. And you can gain LP while having Rosemary on the field, without changing yourself to defense (assuming there is no other target to change). Marjoram as hand trap still works, as it won't be your first turn anymore when your Aroma monster is destroyed by battle. I agree the balance changes IS a nerf, but I don't think it breaks the deck.

@@aoi2853 that’s where the nerf is, if jasmine survives being flipped face up, you can draw during your opponent’s turn if you have a way on gaining LP, and you usually do. Other than not being able to draw with jasmine, this deck wasn’t hit too hard with the nerfhammer. And you’re not going to have jasmine in your starting hand everytime anyway. Playing balance does give you at least 1 spell, 1 trap and 1 monster. So you will always be able to setup a defense and backrow for that first turn (unless you open marjoram)

I didn't knew about the nerf of the Aromages until i used them again with my old deck, but funny enough, i won practically every duel i played with them, and i'm using "balance" (with Kaiba, because i wanted to level up with him and get "The Melody of Awakening Dragon"). Even with the nerf, Aromages are very strong (and yes, sometimes y almost lose because of the time limit, but after some duel i learned again to use efficiently the time)

@@JoeyRikoWheeler most aromage decks dont play the syncro as it hurts consistency, he did play bergamot though if he got it earlier it would have been an out. Another out will be the non targeting effect of dried winds but he jammed up his backrow before he was able to set a dried wind

Ah, Aromages, the only deck that lets you vomit your whole deck in few turns, never run out of cards, easily get a Ra with 10k atrack points and still end up with more LP than your opponent. I usually put one Bergamot for the hell of it. Wonder why it isn't more played.

I always have Bergamot for my Autoduel. Having ALL your plants gain piercing is pretty strong imho. I played Aroma for Turbo Duels coz they have some synergy with Ex Black Rose skill.

I still think balance works still fine with that somehow bc if u have only gardening & rosemarry u can summon her, use gardening effect for gaining 1K & Rosemally sont switch her position. If u only use the small monster u could also run "my monster cards" as a skill bc fitting 6 LV4 or lower monster shouldnt be an issue

I tried using this deck and replacing 1 of the 3 humid winds with scolem scolding and I bricked many times with pulling 2 of the same trap and opening with just a rosemary or canaga. I think aromage is too weak after the balance hit.

@@reinierlara5421 let's say I got to stage 2 pretty easily. I run a special tech card called head judging. You might be saying but head judging is such a douchy card. I know. But it worked so well for me. As for stage 2 I didn't do so well. Only got 40 percent wins because people like to run mach.

well... most people choose to surender if they facing aromage deck. not only its boring, but also waste your time since they know that battle is gonna be a boss battle. where the opponent will banish, destroy, change battle position, gain LP, draw, special summon, recycle grave card to deck, all of this on both your and your opponent turn. you can even make 2 win or more during the duration you play agains aromage player.

@@nunyabiznes33 how often? Well... As long as your backrow is save and your set up is ready, you can summon ra anytime you want with aroma. Maybe around turn 8 or upward. But if your backrow is got destroyed, its hard to recover. Since they usefull backrow is trap card. The spell one (garden or gardening is useless if you have high LP)
