Today was a big firework at the Düsseldorfer fair / Rheinkirmes thousands of people showed up it was really crowded one of the biggest fairs in Germany

It's amazing what the German fair companies will build for a temporary event! I've never seen such large rollercoasters and tall rides for a "portable" fair. Love your vids!

I see Gogo in the thumbnail, I click! GIV, you're lucky to have such a great friend. I love how he gently yet persistently encourages you to get more exercise, but I agree that taking the train to Dusseldorf was the right idea. Someone like Gogo could probably bike it in under an hour, but for people like us who aren't in shape, it would be more like two unless we were riding electric bikes. Great views of the city from the Sky Lift. In my younger days I would've been up for all those rides, but now I'd be afraid of losing my lunch (or bladder LOL) on the more wild ones. Hope you're having a great time in the motherland!

Those are some spectacular rides. I love Gogo; he's such a good guy. The fair was definitely too packed to enjoy but the beautiful moon over the Rhine and fireworks made it worthwhile. TY you both.

I grew up in Germany and came to America in 84. gone back many times and now with my American husband, I have dual citizenship very fond of Düsseldorf spent some time there with my girlfriend before I left for good to go to America so I remember the area well!

The shots from the skylift are absolutely beautiful.. the size of the festival is amazing look at the lights. A big field on the side to break away and take a nap. Everybody peaceful nobody getting arrested.

I absolutely love your guises, German fairs and carnivals the lights. Remind me of Vegas, which I’ve never been to, but I think it’s an iconic thing about Vegas or things like that that are lit up like that. It just looks like joy and happiness. I’m so glad you and Gogo had a good time. and I still can’t get over the fact that the fares and carnivals are free there. It just absolutely blows my mind. Hopefully one day I will make it talk Oktoberfest. It looks like so much fun. I absolutely love the Bavarian style. It’s just so neat even the way you guys dress and things for the Oktoberfest. As a native of Cologne, I think you should give Cologne more visits. Medieval towns like Bad Münstereifel and Monschau are also sure to be of interest to your American viewers. Frankfurt am Main is the most American city in Germany
