I’ve had the overload issue happen twice on the v13. I was sitting both times with the tire either placed against a curb or wall. So my theory is that the way I was seated I would roll backwards if those obstructions were not blocking the wheel from rolling. So the motor was probably overheating which probably caused the overload warning. Just a theory… #seated.

Interesting, maybe the soft sand was enough of an obstruction to do the same thing.

Happy to see you being able to ride #seated again without too much discomfort Much easier on the knees with taller wheels You definitely need that 22" new begode panther for the ultimate seated ride

Panther MAY be a thing, maybe not. I now have no 20" wheels in my stable

Watching you do part of the same route you rode with Pam and I was cool. We really enjoyed being with you.

Generally any wheel doesnt like to be sat on while stationary for more than about 1 minute Id say. It causes wheels to overheat as well, it seems to draw a lot of computing power on the controller for having to constantly adjust back and forth while not rolling. Ive had wheels also power off while sitting before and then had to turn it off and on again. Its not just the v13 that does this. That suspension is really quiet, thats a nice benefit for sure. Great video!

I have sat on other wheels on hard surfaces for very long times when I used them as barstools :) Makes sense though the soft sand would make the wheel constantly work.

Bought a second hand V13 with 5000km on it. Look like the previous owner went ham with it offroad and busted the suspension. Ordered the air shocks you have from the same company. Had to order limiter washer from Aliexpress, since no vendor in North America sell them and vendors from Europe don't ship to NA. Waiting for them to arrive and get to start rebuilding. Sounds like it's working great for you.

Do you mean the dampener bushing nut up top? Good luck on the rebuild!

Kingsong gets a lot of grief but my favourite wheel is the S19. Good suspension and not too heavy. Good pedal height. I rarely ride my ex30 anymore. Really starting enjoy lower pedals and lighter wheels. Wish the top speed was 45 mph though. Just for the margin of safety. I would consider another singsong wheel.

I have heard other positive reports on the S19, I never rode one however.

Someone dropped the v13 repair vid in a thread titled “v13 useful information” on the euc forum. One Punxetawnyjoe offered some feedback on your vid. May want to check that out.

I am very laid back, until I'm not.

@Duf oh I'm not saying that you can't be aggressive. It just seems like you have a lot more self control than a lot of people. I meant that as a compliment.
@Duf11 сағат бұрын
@@ionflow1073 Oh I didn't take it negatively, thanks bud. I have heard that commentary from a bunch of people. The weird thing is I could give you a long list of impulsive things I have done that show a significant lack of self control!

In so many professions the client has reliance upon thorough quality assurance. Looking at what can happen (injuries, property damage, loss of life or even just inconvenience) full testing and accounting for all use cases it seems better to have real life use to make software robust. Those in house tests sitting a wheel on a testing platform like a treadmill might help with mechanical but only limited software testing. Who does the most real life testing?
@Duf19 сағат бұрын
Well if you saw the Inmotion factory tour they do have machines that test various aspects of the wheel like you describe. However nothing beats extended real world testing IMO.

Yeah, if it was a Begode wheel sitting on it with a blew the motherboard I don’t think you can do that with any wheel. It’s like doing a pendulum constantly easy to overpower the motherboard or overheat it be careful, bud.

I guess, I have used it as a chair on hard surfaces for much longer. Guess sand is a no no.

@Duf21 сағат бұрын
Those are my cheaper set I bought on Temu. They seem very good for the money. Those were what I was wearing when I crashed in October. The brand is Sulaite. I do like them. They fit and feel similar to my much more expensive Nobelman gear,

Some riders are seated way more than they are standing. My dimensions and limited flexibility make it tough.
