I actually like how Ben asked Henry to look into ben's eyes when he was providing direction (discipline). Good parenting right there because kids are SO easily distracted and making a child try to focus on your "eyes" or "nose" etc really helps them listen and try to understand.

Reminds me of my family Christmases. Only had eight kids though. But being one of the youngest it was so much fun when all my married siblings and their kids came over. Shared gifts and ate forever. It was always loud ,the house was filled with love and laughter. I really miss those days

I remember going to my grandmother's house as a kid. She had a mountain cabin which didn't get running water until I was 14. It was overflowing with kids, cousins, and love. Even though it's a different house and family, the atmosphere was the same. Thank you for sharing. Watching the video took me back to my childhood and that special experience of excitement, food, and family.

Saudade73 Someone else from your family she pick up where she left off! That’s what we’ve done in my family through the generations. When my great grandmother passed away, my great aunt took over Christmas Eve, and when my aunt passed away my mother took over. We still eat the same food every year and follow the same traditions with family, it’s just in a different house. I couldn’t imagine not having our Family Christmas Eve celebration every year! It may have moved around locations, but it’s still the same spirit!

Every toy, game, pastime we could think was represented here. All those babies (except Abbie’s & John David’s) are born and healthy, thank the Lord. I’m way behind real life because I’ve only seen the TV show and this is my first time seeing a Duggar KZbin. I watch the show a lot. I love watching little kids open presents. The youngest member of my immediate family is 27 so there are no more babies or little kids who believe in Santa.
