My mom grew up with 13 brothers and sisters and when I was a baby our family use to get together like this back in the 80's and 90's. Miss those happy days with my family!! Grandpa passed right before I was born and nana passed away ten years ago this Christmas. It's a bitter sweet time of year!! Wished our family was still close!! Especially with my siblings and cousins getting married and having little families of their own!! Although I myself relate to Jana because I turned 32 this year and still haven't met my Mr Forever. The HUGE tree extending into the rafters reminds me of the tree in the shopping mall years ago...looks just like it! I love your family! I don't really recall my family being this happy on Christmas or ever, as my Dad was always mad and we were always hiding from him in our rooms so no I am not kidding, it was scary sometimes. So seeing this I always said if I ever was blessed with kids of my own or a family they would never have to go through this fear. I didn't have kids but we my husband and I just have this amazing relationship and I know that he was hand picked just for me! Thank you for sharing your family Christmas time with us! I really enjoy watching how everyone interacts and how everyone is so helpful with even the smallest things! I just love it!

I’m months late. But i love this. I love seeing big family gatherings. It takes me back to my childhood. I have somewhat of a big family, not as many as you Duggar’s lol. But my grandparents (my moms parents) had 5 daughters, each daughter had 2-4 kids each, so there’s 15 grandkids total. So that’s the 5 daughters + 5 husbands plus 15 grandkids + 2 grandparents + 2 great grandparents (my grandpas parents, i was blessed to have them for the first 9 years of my life) So almost 30 people in my grandparents medium sized house lol. But it was sooo much fun!!! Then cousins started having babies so it got even bigger. But as my grandparents got older they stopped doing holiday gatherings because it was too much. And none of their daughters kept it up. My grandfather has since passed. It’s just not the same. Enjoy this! Because it really is a blessing ❤️
