I actually like how Ben asked Henry to look into ben's eyes when he was providing direction (discipline). Good parenting right there because kids are SO easily distracted and making a child try to focus on your "eyes" or "nose" etc really helps them listen and try to understand.

Reminds me of my family Christmases. Only had eight kids though. But being one of the youngest it was so much fun when all my married siblings and their kids came over. Shared gifts and ate forever. It was always loud ,the house was filled with love and laughter. I really miss those days

My family is so messed up. We barely see each other and we never talk. I’m 1 of 6 kids and it’s so sad it is this way.. I WISH I had a family like these people do!! What a blessing

I spent Christmas alone this year and got to admit I was a little jealous of having so many together on Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas Jessa, Ben and the little ones to your family from ours. May your new year be healthy, happy, filled with love and laughter and be prosperous. I was hoping that all of your sisters and brothers would have been home for Christmas but it is difficult to get everyone under one roof when there is two families to split your time between.
