I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Rolando Diaz.

Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time

In trading, possessing technical analysis skills is not sufficient on its own; discipline and emotional maturity play crucial roles in achieving success. Embracing the mindset of "time in the market vs. timing the market" proves valuable, especially during market fluctuations. I attribute my growing daily earnings to Flora Elkin's valuable insights and daily trade signals, coupled with my commitment to continuous learning, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Kudos to the journey ahead!

This is the reason why I went from profitable to non profitable. I started small and was doing good, I caught a couple of big movements and something in my mind changed. Just shows you that trading psychology is ever evolving. Best to find a way of trading that suits you and stick to that. Taking partial profits as the trade progresses at a marked TP 1 level and leaving a runner has worked for me, but I also swing trade. Good luck.

This is totally me lately! Those big runs are hypnotic. I took some trades last week and closed way early leaving profits on the table on some really great runs. I shifted my trading strat with out realizing it fully and have been losing more than winning, thinking the retracement is going to turn around, and letting trades go to break even after being in decent profit. Using multi contract bracket orders with a wide trailing stop is a good way to take profits along the way and also protect your position from any losses or missing out on profit by allowing a trade to retrace all the way back to break even. I was doing this for a while with good success and then for some reason switched to less contracts looking for those bigger moves.

Yeahp - well said Tori - that is why I stopped using the safety line and eventually waiting for the stock to retract and take profit once it goes through that line. It yields much much better when you capitalise on the small gains consistently

If you can make 1 point a day on the ES mini you can become insanely profitable. 1 point x 1 contract x 1 trade a day equals 12,600 a year.... Don't like that? When you build an account that can handle it how about this..... 1 point x 1 trade x 10 contracts.... This equals 126,000 a year... Better? Gain by size not runs. I would recommend you start with the micro E mini first then build from there. Remember there will always be losses but they should be be minimal with a good scalping plan.... Don't get impatient....
@DS-mr7gr7 ай бұрын
Heck yeah, I’m with you. As a house is built brick by brick (typically same size bricks), we should do the same with our accounts. I’ve been of the same mindset as you, making smaller amounts, consistently. This increases confidence and allows one’s account to grow. As the account grows, just add contracts to increase profit, no need to obtain larger runs thereby reducing risk. Thx for sharing. Love the comparisons.
@williamfoster79207 ай бұрын
@@DS-mr7gr ... Thanks for the reply.👍 Definitely easier to scalp a point during the high probability areas than to try for a run of multiple points... Of course you have to get to know the instrument you are trading... I trade the ES and 1 point scalps are pretty quick and pretty easy. The shortest trade I have had was about 2 seconds... the longest was about 7 minutes... I don't normally give it that much time...lol

(My) Rule #1: TAKE PROFITS. Life consists of many many many little things. In fact, most of life is made up of the little things. Therefore, the little things are big. Marco Pierre White has often said, "Perfection is doing many little things right." "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."

I would offer that it depends on where you are in your trading career. For beginners, taking small profits consistently will help build confidence while reducing risk. As a trader grows in their knowledge and understanding of market structure, price analysis, and events that drive the markets or individual stocks, they can grow into larger positions. Start small, become consistently profitable, then add position size make that same small amount. As ones experience grows thin, larger moves could be taken. Trading is unique and that people can find what works for them. It’s very customizable.
