@erica-lillycrider10888 жыл бұрын
i greatly miss these reruns on tv it pissed me off beyond belief that in my lifetime i would see the Dixie flag made illegal i have a camo hat with a deer an a dixie flag on it and one of the first Dukes of hazzard on VHS i'm only 24 years old and i have told people that this said dixie flag is not racist yet they don't wanna hear the facts or the truth or even dare to look up the truth when i tell them they should i swear it's annoying to see such hatred for a flag and such
@DaddytechEnt8 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's a shame that ignorant people had to ruin the whole Dixie flag thing for everyone else, simply because it is easier to jump on the most recent band wagon than it is for them to crack open a book to learn something for themselves. i have dixie flags i will fly them proud because there is no hate behind their meaning or what they were created for. that was added later, by even more ignorant people.also going to hunt down every episode of the dukes and make copies so that my grand kids and great grand kids to come will all be able to enjoy and come to understand the true meaning of what it is to be Southern and not racist but still proud of your heritage
@richardcline13378 жыл бұрын
This is what happens when you get a bunch of brain dead a-holes with too much power running off at the mouth when their a$$es know better. They want to blame the flag for everything that the government has screwed up, never mind that the first slave owner was BLACK! It's this same kind of IGNORANT STUPIDITY that caused Song Of The South to be banned in America but you can get it in Britain. I hope all of these low-life's find a spot in hell for the damage they have caused.

At least 3 were used per episode. And 26 were used in the 2005 movie. Only 17 remain from the show, and a couple of them were used in the movie, they are still at the Warner Bros. Studios.

DaddytechEnt This is true, though a lot of this stuff is actually from when the show was still on the air, it was a huge merchandising boom, probably the biggest TV had seen at that time (and which was why John Schneider and Tom Wopat left for a year, when they felt they were being cheated out of proceeds). I do agree about "cheap and cheerful" cash-ins though on just about every vintage TV show, most of which are nasty and not that well made anyway.
