It's really insane how the best of the best of motorsport truly are a step above the rest. For each of these dudes to jump into a completely different discipline of racing where the concepts couldn't be further apart and have very successful outings, pushing the cars really highlights that.

They are really not that different at all, same principles of feel for the car , finding the grip leval, seat of the pants understanding of the machine and a skill set suited to that sport, now if you were talking about a pool player driving the F1, or the rally car well, I would be very impressed.

Check out Daniel Ricciardo driving an Australian V8 supercar with a driver called Rick Kelly. Rick commented that Danny was correcting the oversteer before he was even feeling it let go and applauded his reflexes 💪. They're all pretty close to the limit in different classes of race cars and even closer to each other in equal machinery

Brundle was always a better driver than his F1 results show. A little more confidence and support and he'd have pushed for a WDC. He was certainly on it in the Scooby.

His foot injury really hindered his career and I believe stopped him from having the ability to left foot brake. This is the same man that challenged Senna right through F3.

Brundle was unlucky to be up against people like Senna and Schumacher. Lots of great drivers are sometimes just up against it they are either in a team that’s struggling or someone special just keeps winning in a machine that shouldn’t really win. Martin is great in sky’s F1 channel and he gets my respect. RIP Colin you were a legend and one hell of a driver ❤

Problem always is with F1 drivers when they get in anything else they're like yeah, meh, it's alright. You see them and ask them, I have. They drive an extreme production road hypercar today and they're like yeah, it's alright. Just isn't near an F1 car though. WRC car has less than half the power and twice the weight of an F1 car of that era. F1 is another world in terms of raw acceleration and lateral G. It's a terrifying day for the rally driver sticking corners at 150mph with extreme G force in every direction and just another slow fun drive for an F1 pro in a WRC. You can see it with some other swaps, like the stock car swap for F1, the F1 driver is underwhelmed and the stock car driver's brain melted from the F1.
