I loved this! This is the Duluth I grew up in…a lot greener and fewer gigantic buildings. Thanks so much for posting.

Thank you so much for uploading this video! I love seeing what Duluth looked like in 1967. It's wonderful how it's just views of every day life! This helps preserve the history of the area, thank you!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane of the place and time I knew so well. I really did enjoy it. Sometimes the passage of time can create an illusory affect, however no distance or passage of time can change the harsh reality that Duluth is an off the beaten path, rusty old, backwards beater. That I stayed so long in that go nowhere, do nothing place may well be the biggest mistake of my life. I really did enjoy your film though.

My dad loved his hometown of Duluth. Born in the early 20s. Moved to So Cal after WWII, but Duluth was “home” for my Daddy. He would be pleased his 8mm film was viewed and you enjoyed.

Boy you have a lot of the "old Duluth" in this footage. My first trip to the "twin ports" was as an 8-year-old with my parents and brother and sister also in 1966. The shots of the grain elevators, lift bridge and that quick glimpse of "The Flame" restaurant bring back fond memories. I especially like the landing and takeoff shots at the Duluth airport of the apparent Minnesota Air National Guard, Convair F-102A, "Delta Dagger," fighter-interceptor jets. Thanks for sharing!

Great shots of the Minnesota ANG F-102s. My Dad drove for Jeno's at that time and I remember the Arena Auditorium being built. My wife and I are going to Duluth this weekend to tour Glensheen again and of course dinner at the Pickwick.

That would have been my dads step brother, Everett Johnson and his wife, Mary. Everett was injured and paralyzed as a result of WWII. Does his name and life story sound familiar? For exact address…hmm. I have to find old records.

Why not Duluth looks nice most say, they put up a new Hospital looks more like a skyscraper tho almost 20 stories tall. It’s bigger now than it was back that 55 or so years ago.

A lot has changed in Duluth, especially at the waterfront since this video was taken. Some of the changes I'm not too happy with since in the '80s or '90s the city father's decided to turn Duluth into a resort after the steel Mills left for China.😐
