You're supposed to wait until its fully dark outside. The bees go into the hole at night. Take a flashlight with you, and pour gas directly down the hole. By doing it at night, you will kill all the bees belonging to that hive since they all go back into the hole at night. You wont get stung this way either.

Ground hornet's don't die when they sting. They leave a ferimone after stinging you. That's how the others know to track and sting you. Wait till dark, when they are dormant. Dump apple cider vinegar in the hole. Probably a gallon depending on how deep the hole is. If ya wanna be ruthless, wait till dark dump a flammable liquid in the hole and torch it. Always wait till after dark when they're dormant

This has happened to me four times in my life so this is how you destroy them ok listen you mark the hole get a garden hose and some cheap bottle of dish detergent I use the Palmolive green large bottle, IN THE DARK AT NIGHT OK they are dormant and sleeping get the hose and detergent and start filling the hole with as much sudsy foaming water as you can ok don't stop for any reason until you a confident the hole is saturated keep in mind near vary in sizes according to how many they are and how long they have been established in the nest this method will destroy them don't try this in the daylight ok, they will all be in there at night, love your videos Joe.

Ground hornets can dig 8-10’ below the surface. They also have numerous tunnels. So where you are burning them is only one tunnel. They can escape and attack you from other tunnels. Good luck😂

Had a ground nest on the side of my house as well. When the cans of spray killer didn’t work, I bought a can of big gap spray foam and went at night and filled the entire nest with spray foam. Haven’t seen bees since. lol

When I was 6/7 years old my sister stood on a hornets nest and I got stung by 30+ of the little bastards! I had stings in my mouth too and ended up with a swollen lip. I now can’t bare to be things that sting 🙈

In the future, there is a can of bee foam that you use for ground Hornets that has a hollow tube that attaches to the nozzle and at night time you insert the tube into the ground hole. The foam expands to the hive and destroys the nest.

I deal with 1-2 of these nest a year. They sell a white powder dust you put into a hand held duster specifically made for yellow jacket nest in ground. Best to do at night when nest is inactive, you put the powder dust in the entrance way and the following morning when nest becomes active, the dust attaches to the bastards and they drag the dust throughout the nest, killing the queen and entire nest. For real active nest, you can take a shop vac and place the hose by the main entrance way and turn it on to suck up the bastards as they enter and exit the nest. To agitate the nest, use something to create vibrations above the nest. Gas may not work on all nest, because I have dug up some nest I have killed and some can be pretty deep. Yellow jackets, hornets do not die when they sting you, honey bees are the ones that die when they sting you. Bald face hornets are probably the nastiest bastards I have encountered to date and their nest can be large in size, usually in trees.

I had an issue last year. Took a shop vac, filled with soapy water. Attached a 10' PVC pipe to the end of it and slid the end right up to the entrance. As they came out, they got sucked up. After they stopped coming out, I took the foaming wasp spray and emptied a can into the hole. Later, took some hot water and some dish soap and poured that down there. I counted about 200 dead yellow jackets in the shop vac. Those things were tiny, but their sting was super painful.

Justin, I own several honeybee hives. A honeybee can only sting once but yellow jackets and wasps can sting several times and do not die. Be sure you are careful because their nest will go several feet in the ground and you need to make sure you kill the queen or they will just come back. You don’t need your children getting stung. Make sure you also check out your remaking property for other hives. Trust me I’ve been stung several times by hornets and it’s not fun, wish you luck.👍🏻🙋‍♂️🐝🐝🐝

Man I walked out on my back patio where I had an old couch I was going to take out to the road for trash pickup. When I picked it up I pissed off the wasps that lived in it and they went ballistic on my ass. They stung me from my feet up to my head. Flew up my shorts and got me in the thighs, stomach, neck, head. All in all I think I got stung 20+ times. They all died a horrible death haha. but man that did NOT feel good. We call them digger wasps. We had them bad one year. I killed them with ammonia. Wait until it is dark to do it. Pour the ammonia in the hole until it begins to back up out the hole. Ours had more than one entry and we didn't know it so ammonia started to come out of two other holes. All together I used almost 3 gallons of ammonia. The nest was that big. We haven't had an issue since.

I use lighter fluid for grills. I tried soap peroxide and neem oil it works but need to spray a lot. The hornet spray did nothing for me. I did cover from head to toe. They are evil and as wasp can sting lots of times.

Oh yeah, if I forgot to say it, I love you guys and enjoy every video. WD-40 is my husband‘s favorite bee killer because he says it turns into mush and hit the ground instantly. Plus, if you spray the nest then you can drop a match on it also. I can’t remember the name but there’s also a bee killer spray in a can that is foam which spreads and expands quickly so it covers more of the nest faster so they can’t get away as easy.
