This video gives too much credit to the FBI for the downfall of Al Capone. It was really the IRS (with the possible help of Eliot Ness and his "Untouchables," who worked for the Treasury Department, while the FBI was a branch of the Justice Department) that discovered that Capone, who at that time was one of the richest men in the United States, had neglected to pay his income taxes for several years. He never even filed a return. As for the FBI, it wasn't even called that at the time of Capone's tax evasion trial. FBI stands for Federal Bureau Of Investigation, but it didn't officially get that name until 1935. (which means it wasn't even called that when they killed John Dillinger, "Pretty Boy" Floyd, and "Baby Face" Nelson in 1934, or when they arrested "Machine Gun" Kelly in 1933) Before that, it was called The United States Bureau Of Investigation, or simply the Bureau Of Investigation for short. In the animated sequences about Capone, some of the characters seem to be wearing modern day clothes, and there were a few modern cars too, including a modern police car.

That's true. Capone had contracted syphilis, possibly from one of his own prostitutes. (although a husband and father of one son, Capone, like a lot of gangsters, had a reputation as a lady's man) Anyhow, he could have gotten medical treatment for his problem, but he failed to do so, and do you know why? Well, it was because rough and tough Al Capone, the big mob boss of Chicago, was (are you ready for this?) AFRAID OF HYPODERMIC NEEDLES! As that old Frank Sinatra song said, "Ain't that a kick in the head?"
