This seems like a quick workout tbh. Also DB overhead press without back support is working your side delts and calf raises would be taking up a spot in the workout for a useful exercise like a lateral raise or arm isolation movement.

I did a combo of dumbbell pushups/rows, where all the weight was on one hand/dumbbell - compressed my nerve that runs through Guyan's Canal. Pushups are ok, but not rows in combination. Rows as you illustrate are fine. My nerve eventually came back, over a period of years.

It's not a dumbbell exercise but I always recommend planks over crunches. Planks are more beneficial for the joint alignment, target more muscle groups than crunches, and help maintain posture. That's why it's recommended for people with scoliosis. Crunches on the other hand can put way more stress on the spine and cause more injury overtime.

Is 2 kg dumbells Enough?
@paudiedaly22
@paudiedaly22 8 ай бұрын
The amount of weight that you use depends on your own strength and goals. A good way to see which weight you should use is if you can do at least 5 to 10 reps for 3 sets with good form, with breaks of around 2 minutes in between sets. Once you can do the exercises with that weight with ease (eg, not feeling as fatigued as usual or if the exercises with that weight feel a bit too easy), it's a good idea to move up in weight. Even if it seems like a very small increase. For example, personally I had been using 7.5 kg dumbbells for lateral raises for my first 3 months of working out. However, after I noticed that I didn't really need the breaks in between the sets anymore, I moved up to using 10kg dumbbells. I hope that this is useful enough since deciding which weight to use can depend on a variety of factors.
