In the meantime, his child from his first relationship died of a serious illness for which they were organizing money collections (in the meantime, he was living very luxuriously and spending a fortune on cars and clothes). He was invited to a TV breakfast program before Christmas and said there that he had nothing in common with his daughter from infidelity and he did this in very bitter words. His club decided to terminate his contract (there were many other controversial interviews with him earlier).

Bro forgot to check the Bumble clause in his contract before signing 🤪 On a more serious note, this is very representative of the football culture here in Turkey. If you look at the replies you'll see many people congratulating this decision and backing the club up, saying how Beşiktaş shouldn't house such frivilous players like him since Beşiktaş is a very serious club and an organization. Hardcore fans really like to get on their high horses and judge everyone else that don't make the club they support the centerpiece of their life, treating football as if it is a matter of life and death. And even worse, people like them and their behaviour often get romanticized and sometimes even rewarded on the media. It is represented as a "cute" trait for someone to have, which is something I find very problematic. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing inherently wrong about being ride or die for the club a person supports and many football fans got to see a glimpse of that immense and emotional support Turkish fans provide for their teams of choice, earlier when Galatasaray played Bayern and Manchester United. However many radicals, "Fanatik"s as we call them over here, almost go as far as to sour the whole scene for many others. Many of the happen to be hormone-headed high schoolers with nothing else to do anyways which only makes things relatively worse as one can imagine. We as a nation kinda just love to take very miniscule things way, *way* too seriously and this is only a mere example of that, specifically on the topic of sports. And just a side note: Beşiktaş, throughout their history, always had their fair share of drama, so this was nothing new neither for the people who support them or a rival club. When you add the fact that they only very recently have appointed a new club president, this very well may be a reactionary decision for the new president to "assert their dominance" and to show how they are and will "rule the club with an iron fist" (both are considered as positive traits for a club president in Turkish football btw) after looking at what fans have written about this specific "incident" on the internet and additionally, for an effort to win them over as a side goal. Because it would suffice to say that the team is struggling to break through into the top three at the moment and obviously fans want more from their team as Beşiktaş is a part of the "Big Three" clubs in Turkey (even though that kinda turned into a "Big Four" with the rise of Trabzonspor, especially throughout recent years). Anyways just wanted to give my two cents about this as a Turkish football fan. Long live Peepo, may he directly look into our souls eternally.

The reason he got released was because besiktas wouldn't let him leave to torino in January and ,apparently he was half assing it ,and back in December, besiktas suspended players for poor performances and asked player's to reduce their social media distractions and to avoid dating apps until the end of the season. As a Turkish person, and a Fenerbahçe fan, I think this came out at the wrong time for him, Beşiktaş is in a troubled state and the chairman just got elected 1-2 months ago. For me it depends on why he lied, whether I would side with him or not. If he was trying to get older girls, it's an understandable mistake that a young guy can make, and as a 23 year old myself, I would side with him rather than the club because I know it's something I would have done (Though I never did do so myself,, upon reflection, lying about my age to get older girls is absolutely the type of thing teenage me would have done). if he "lied" on Bumble and it turns out Emirhan is actually 24 rather than 21 right now, that's a problem and I wouldn't take his side if it was the truth.

People's ages are only wrong on dating apps for two reasons: 1) they lied to seem younger, or 2) they were on the app while they were too young for it and can't change their age now. He almost definitely made his account when he was 15 and lied about being 18, so now it's still off by those three years.

I think it's either because of club image (like a club should not promote this stuff or something. Sounds kinda stupid, but completely understandable from business POV). Or, it's because he's wearing club shirt when he's "not supposed to" and it's against his contract due to commercial reasons
