Dumping big rocks can be a little stressful! You need to take it slow and don''t make any sudden moves. It's not as bad as I made it sound in the video.

Nice vid. Man that trailer gate takes a real beating with those rocks pounding the hell out of it. Rip that gate right off the hinges. Be careful, be careful.

Thanks for the comments it's great to know people watch my videos. I was dumping in Westford, Ma., yes all the materials are recycled and no more snow.

Yes it is,, Especially when you get out to check the body & find a couple big ones wedged between the hoist house, & the bodies all the way up.. Exactly,, slow & easy. Love the videos man keep it up. Love dump trucks, did it at least 1/2 of my 43 years driving. or some sort of construction oriented job.

The last time I hauled big rocks ,, they were huge,, a couple were almost as long as the body & 1/2 way up in height. Hauling from East Hampton Ct to Westbrook Ct building a sea wall. (* RD Mack tri-axle.. beats the shit out of the body. We were doing a job for my boss; nephew because he didn't want to ruin his pretty little KW. LOL!!!

As a very experienced end dump operator. Wow. I would never do that more than once 😂

My son really enjoyed this one, thanks!

Been there, done that, except I did it with a tri-axle. Still, not fun when the material gets to be that size.

TheBostonTrucker lol. I had a 48' frameless dump to lay down and side dump on me once. When the big rocks in the nose hadn't moved for a while, it made me nervous lol. After they fell to the tailgate I started breathing again lol.

It's different than other material && e careful rocks don't get stuck between the dog house & side of the trailer. I was hauling these boulders once , I mean 1 rock was almost the width of the body & 1/2 it's height Then add a few more on top. shit gets wedged in there. Hauling to the shore for a sea wall. Just go easy.

Before retiring I drove for LILY Trans out of Needham. I worked for WHOLE FOODS in Chesire Ct. I was in Boston area at least 3 times a week. I remember seeing those trucks & all the other nice construction vehicles up there. I like what I call Mass pinstripes.. I drove dumps for 1/2 my career started on them & ironically after I retired I was driving a98 Mack RD tri-axle P/T for this company, that & payloaders, rollers, & dozers. Thanks for subscribing . I live in Wildwood Fl now, theres a I-7 Chrome Shop show at the end of April , so I'll be posting from there.

michael fields I have one on my truck they never work plus the operator hits the arms they tweak just a little and you're fucked. Almost from day 1 my trucks a 07 Volvo the operator hit it and it goes halfway up then you gotta hold the button up 2-3 inches lower it 1 inch raise it 3-4'inches so on and so on. When they work they are beautiful but it's when they work.....lol mine anyways

Never seen that in person, they look sketchy too.

@@TheBostonTrucker trust me. It's safer as long as u don't dump on a super steep grade. Way faster too 😀. I been driving side dump for past 3 years now
