Thrift store employees will often take home things the shop doesn’t want to sell. They are thrilled to do that. These big stores should be doing that too. Really takes “keeping things out of the landfill to another level!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️

A suggestion for something I do - find a thrift store that takes damaged clothes, linens , etc- like the painted and cut items u find. The shop will have a pickup for donations like that- the pick up will be from a fabric recycling company. They also will take beat up purses and single shoes. It is then recycled into all manner of things. I found a thrift shop that does that- really makes me feel good to keep that unusable stuff out of the landfill. Good luck!!

I super hate to see all the dogwood bags cut and dumped. So many homeless people have pets and all dog and catfood could go to the homeless people. Im too short to dumpster dive but if I could and the bags weren't dumped I would give out pet food. So when I see you dumpster dive and see all that wasted petfood I shed a tear. Love your channel.

My friend and I were super excited to go diving yesterday at a store that is closing and we cancelled at the last minute when my mom called to tell me if I wanted to say goodbye to her dog, my fuzzy sister Penny that I should. Best decision I made, I spent all day yesterday with her and loved her up. She passed away at 2 am this morning.

In most states it’s not illegal. They are sneaky sometimes because they don’t want to get caught then they will distroy or will lock the dumpsters. The stores don’t want people to get it from the trash then try to return it. Only thing to worry about is trespassing signs

You really would think in this day and age they would donate the pet food to a pet shelter. Or maybe is it a case they are worried about be sued if the pet/s take sick and they want to try and blame the food or does it all boil down to money and the loss of the food retains more money than donation.
