Age verification doesn't need to store your actual date of birth - it can just do the calculation and then store a variable saying whether you're old enough or not

i have never understood the purpose of those "verifications" anyway. like, i already realized at the age of 10 to choose an older date of birth because otherwise i wouldn't be able to access whatever i was trying to access. and in the case of buying something, you already need some credit card tied to the account anyway.. it's just.. such a meaningless contrivance that isn't remotely effective of keeping underaged people out, it just becomes a waste of time for everyone else.
